Ok. So it was poor fare yesterday and folk are right to be disappointed - I'm disappointed - but if we are disappointed in the performance of the team just think how disappointed the team must be with

  • We have blown our best chance so far for a top 6 place and we have no one to blame but ourselves. We got bowled over like a band of skittles tonight by some of the most inept displays of football

  • Ach, it's no the ref's fault we are sh*te. With a bit of luck we could have scored, but it would be pushing the boat out too far to say we deserved anything from this game. Good effort by Foran

Hayes back, weeeey!

Duncan out. Probably the scapegoat as usual for Saturdays performance. Im guessing Munro and Tokely as the full backs, and Innes and Hogg in the centre.

Team news from the Caledonian Stadium:

Inverness CT: Esson, Tokely, Munro, Innes, Hogg, Duff, Cox, Hayes, Foran, Rooney, Doran. Subs: Tuffey, Golabek, Odhiambo, Duncan, Ross, Sutherland, MacDonald.

Dundee Utd: Pernis, Dillon, Douglas, Watson, Dixon, Conway, Scott Robertson, Swanson, Gomis, Armstrong, Goodwillie. Subs: Mentel, David Robertson, Buaben, Shala, van der Meulen, Russell, Dow.

Referee: Steven McLean

wooo

i may not be able to go but at least i can listen for once...

good to see johnny back and hoping him and doran work well. come on boys i have us scoring 4 in the npl :P

oooh look thats my 1000th post

That is one tall back line! Good for the Doran and Hayes corners and free kicks I suppose... especially when the Arabs have next to no height in their team

The pace and skill of Goodwillie, Swanson, Conway et al could be a problem though

Rosscoe booked already

sounds like johnny is having an impact though

header from Foran saved by Pernis

It looks like we've been missing Hayes the past number of weeks

Doran injury????

not good he was sounding pretty good

"A poorly executed throw in that went out for a goal kick" I find that unlikely. The radio presenter must have made a mistake.

Doran off Nick Ross on......Rosscoe looking on thin ice :redcard:

Rooney just scored - unfortunately it's the other one for Man U

another close thing from the real Rooney

HT Summary......rubbish game all round.

Game started slow with no urgency from either team, and apart from about 3 minutes in the middle it never got much better.

Munro seemed to take about 20 to 25 minutes to get comfortable and was hoofing anything and everything that came to him. He did settle down a bit, but then started getting caught up the field when playing out and forward.

Hayes with a couple of glimpses of his old self, but still far from anything like the player we're used too...but you could perhaps forgive him for that having just come back from injury.

Up front. Rooney is very much the lone striker as Foran spending most of his time in the midfield area at least trying to get something going as Cox and Duff are unwilling/unable to put a foot on the ball.

Looking at the subs bench I don't see much that could change things....especially when the problems are so widespread.

Ref isn't helping the game any either, some of his decisions are laughable and Utd should have at least 2 guys in the book.....the only thing he did in our favour was not book Tokely for the second time when he brought the boy down on the edge of the are, or award the penalty which it might easily have been.

Thankfully Innes and Hogg looking not too shabby and they've saved us on a few occasions and stopped Utd getting any clear chances at goal.
