posting this early as I will be heading out the door to the Toronto FC -V- San Jose game at the same time as most of you will hit the pub .... and I will be hitting the pub, just about the same time as the kickoff at Pittodrie ! Anybody know what has happened with Ryan Esson ?? Was in the intial line ups but seems to be Jonny Tuffey in goal now, Esson injured in the warm up ??

I have only just turned radio on now

Can't get radio coverage anymore over here.

And no sub keeper as a result.

Esson is sitting on the bench - tv coverage has gone now - must be the weather - it looks pretty miserable

Foran should have made it 2-0 - pretty weak strike

Both SKY and the BBC websites say Esson isnt on the bench - 25 - Mathison is on teh bench though

The Highlanders were dealt a blow before the match when goalkeeper Ryan Esson picked up an injury during the pre-match warm-up and was replaced by Northern Ireland international Jonny Tuffey.

Big hit by Rae on Tade - deserved that yellow card

A good first half with plenty of chances created. Two contentious hand balls one for each side - on another day both could have been given. The goal was well taken - Tade has battled away well and has won quite a few knock ons. Foran's chance should have put us 2 up and Sutherland did look like he was knicked when he went down in the box at the end of the first half. Only concern is can Aberdeen be so poor in the second half otherwise we may rue some of those missed opportunities.

Aberdeen look more effective already in the first 5 mins of the second half - good save by Tuffey

Being as how our official site is so packed with information about our players I'm left wondering who Mathison is. I presume U-19 keeper.
