Very sad news as the voice of darts has passed away

His commentary could be more entertaining than the darts itself. Favourite lines? I particularly liked:

"He's not Adonis, he's THE donis!"

He annoyed the living crap out of me but he will be one of those guys that 'you'll miss'. R.I.P Sid.

"like throwing 3 pickled eggs into a thimble" .....magic use of words to describe whet he was seeing, RIP Sid.

Got even more respect for Sid when I learnt that he was the writer of "Jossy's Giants"!

And I see from the end credits that Pat Crerand was the show's "football advisor".
