2013/14 Fixtures

We are playing 1st game at home v St Mirren.  Not too bad a start.

Down side is, only 1 home game v Celtic, Aberdeen, Cownty before split. Potentially a bit of a financial hit unless we get top 6 again.

When do the TV companies get involved and start moving the fixtures about? I don't want to start buying bus or train tickets until I know for certain when the game will be on.

TV schedules are the least of your worries there - the fixtures are going to be completely revamped to enable Richard Brittain to play for both of his clubs.

Comment of the year on this website. Laughed out loud. Worthy of at least 2 Andy Gorams

I wish the fixture list actually meant something. Personally, I will wait until the TV schedules are out on the 8th July before booking flights.

Would anyone like to take a bet on how many of our fixtures are played at 15:00 on a Saturday. At the moment, it is 32 out of 33 or 97%. How low will it go this season? Bets?

We must ask St Mirren to parade the League Cup prior to the game to get our lads really fired up!

What's a League Cup . . . ?

There's an error in the fixtures list.....................Motherwell twice just before split.

I see what you mean, 22nd March should say home v Partick.

Thanks for pointing it out guys. human error in data entry ! fixture list amended !

I asked the SPL when the fixtures that would be screened on TV would be decided and I received a response in two minutes! Apparently they hope to have some news next week with discussions with TV partners still ongoing.

looks like it the Hearts game will be a 1245pm kick off

As far as I can find out neither Sky nor ESPN have announced SPL or EPL fixtures as yet.

Twas tongue in cheek Alex.

Also known as the Who-Cares Cup.

Never really understood it myself - the Scottish Cup, like the FA Cup, seems to take precedence and yet it is one of only two major cup competitions in the season. Strange how people seem to dismiss it so readily. Usually when they are no longer in it of course . . . :-)
