Oh well Aberdeen on the 18 th will be an interesting affair

Probably a blessing in disguise, on paper our 2 games in hand could take us to a point behind Motherwell.

Muvversmell must be clear runner up to Tinkerville when it comes to dodgy pitches.

Hey, auld yin, Longman may be 160miles(ish) north of FP but the suburb of Knowetop is approx 1000 feet above your sea level hame and enjoys very little shielding/protection from the elements. The average snow fall is probably higher than the banks of the MF. It's rained non-stop for the last 4 days while we on the Moray Firth/Coast have enjoyed a relatively mild time of it over the Festive Season. While your Merger grass is almost virginal, by comparison Fir Park is as old as you, having first seen action in the late 1800's and with the area of Knowetop formerly hosting several Pits it's a wonder the pitch aint sunk more than it has. Add in the building of that monstrosity at the bottom of the slope in the early 90's and the once effective drainage route for excess water has been eliminated.

£47 spent on train tickets and no football. Bit pish really.

At least British Transport Police will have an easier day

Dougal, why do you have to sign every single one of your posts?

We know who you are,

In fairness Motherwell do have one of the worst records going for call offs and it's not like it's a terrible area for weather, any more so than say, the highlands. It would probably be fairer if ICT were just awarded a 3-0 win.

This now gives us two games in hand whilst we have key players absent, so perhaps we can rally again with wins against Motherwell and County to put us back up the table again.

The 'problem' is, these games in hand will likely be scheduled for much later in the season. We'll also have a re-arranged game against Hibs due to our League Cup semi final.  We'll probably have 3 games outstanding then!

Well we failed badly with all the games together over the festive period so maybe we can make up for that when we have a hectic schedule next after all these games have dates assigned.

We'll see!
