March 12, 200719 yr Salvatore Lucchini has been found guilty of robbing a bank and will not be able to play for some time. Luckily the team has a skilled lawyer who managed to get the sentence reduced substantially.
March 12, 200719 yr Author :024: Something dodgy going on as it seems he could get early release as soon as 17th March - Lawyers must have passed the judge a very fat envelope.
April 13, 200719 yr According to the Italian media RAI clicky clicky he was released. Allegedly he's a friend of a lawyer who used to be involved at a club in Dundee, and is talking about a move to Scottish Division 1 football to resurrect :010: his career.
April 14, 200719 yr Would the lawyer in question possibly be Giovanni di Stefano who was involved with Dundee for a a short time? Italian guy who spoke quite good English although with a cockney accent which made him sound a bit dodgy. I think he was briefly a director at Dundee. His greatest claim to fame was that he was apparently a friend of Saddam which of course led to quips that he was going to fund a brand new Saddam Hussein Stand at Dens Park. I think di Stefano was part of the regime at Dens Park which got Dundee seriously into debt.
April 14, 200719 yr Wasn't di Steffano the once responsible for bringing in Ravanelli in on stupid wages?
April 14, 200719 yr Author The rumour of a move is unfounded, Dynamo are to stick by him for the time being. Some of his team mates aren't too happy though and Andy Stevens has shown his strength of feeling by deciding to retire at the end of the season.
April 14, 200719 yr i like him. this isnt actually a joke di Steffano was one of husseins defence lawyers i think, he also wanted to buy an aircraft acrrier once and was a honorary general in the serbian army (might still be) he tried to buy northampton town after dundee but didnt get anywhere
April 16, 200719 yr the guys a complete fruit loop! IRC as well as being sadams lawyer he was also involved with the serbian warlord Arkan.
April 16, 200719 yr :008: Dont get me started!!! Thankfully Di Stefano has NOTHING to do with the club now and never will have again despite making recent noises about putting in a bid once the Marrs were gone
