  • Brilliant: beating two top four Championship teams away from home to get to the cup final! Well done to Kel, Billy and all the players. It shows we can compete in the Championship when we get there.

  • Date not confirmed, either last weekend in March or first weekend in April. McDiarmid makes the most sense so it will be somewhere like Berwick 😂

  • KDM TROPHY SEMI-FINAL Been a long time coming, but we are now getting down to the business end of the KDM Trophy. It’s a massive night at Somerset Park! Only Ayr United stand between us and a place i

Looking forward to another trip to Firhill for this one. Not sure it’ll be an issue for most fans attending anyway, they certainly stayed away in the earlier rounds.

Are you sure premier league grounds can't be used? Perth has been used previously when St Johnstone were a premier league team.

Hi DD, I think I read it somewhere a while back. As SPL clubs are not invited to the competition their grounds couldn't be used. Whether that was 'sour grapes' or a comp' rule I don't know. Things [rules] may have changed though.

Firhill is probably one of few stadia that are large enough, grass and have a willing host.

Should have asked the SRU about Murrayfield wink

Easter Sunday has ruled me out from coming up that's for sure. Bank Holiday weekend engineering works on the railway and the inevitable mayhem that will cause I'll sit this one out in my living room and watch on the council TV.

Watched our cup final opponents yesterday at Dingwall. Lost 2-0 to a very poor RC side. County allowed them lots of possession 2nd half as 2 goals to the good but never looked like scoring, star man Dylan Easton, not a worry.

Forgot my phone, too geared up for the hospitality, surprised that alcohol was served at half time but told it is ok as the window blinds were drawn. Happy days.

During the game was thinking we can take this team, no bother, adding a third championship scalp in the cup. At the end though my daughter who was giving me updates of our game said “ that’s it finished 0-0”. Changed my tune a bit.

I haven’t got the clout to tell Doncaster and his cohorts that the final should be in Perth so a game I would definitely go to with kids may now be watched at home. Speaking to people I am hearing the same thing said.

What a kick in the teeth for the sponsors if people stayed away from Firhill and what an embarrassment for the SPFL.

As the match gets closer I probably will change my mind and not deprive the kids a cup final. Time will tell.

Ps…… announced yesterday that raith took 158 to Dingwall. Wonder what their supporters are saying about Glasgow.

Ps again……… just realised from post above, Easter Sunday. Family day out at Nairn beach for us, maybe will be a quick roll of the eggs and home for 4pm.

Let it be known that County only won because I had Raith Rovers to win in the NAPS Competition. Uncle Roy should pay me handsomely for that.

Didn't see Roy yesterday but ex keeper mark ridgers was suited up and pressing the flesh welcoming the hospitality guests.
