Ian Black for Cowdenbeath

According to the ICT official website Ian Black played for Cowdenbeath in season 94-95 in which he scored 5 goals.  Also according the same page Black was born in 1985 which means that he must have played for them at the age of 9 or 10!

5 goals in 0 appearances too !!!! pretty good dontcha think  :rotflmao:

Blackburn and ICT is all that is on Soccerbase. Not sure who PTV (the website provider) pulls their stats in from but they might want to look at that.

From memory - Ian Black played his schoolboy/youth football in Edinburgh before enrolling with the Blackburn Football Academy.  Came to us when he was due to move on from the Blackburn Academy and they couldn't guarantee him a place in their full-time squad.

Our Ian Black went to Ross High in Tranent, East Lothian. One of my mates was in charge of him at select level.

The other Ian Black was a striker for Bonnyrigg Rose and a couple of other Junior clubs before The Blue Brazil gave him a shot. I'm surprised he got as many as 5 goals as even the Rose supporters thought he was feckin useless  :020:

If it's another Ian Black why would it be the ICT website?

Because the people who compiled the stats for PTV (the providers of the ICT website) arent football fans and cant tell one Ian Black from another ... in other words, they fecked up (just like the Canadian TV station that said Hastings was a midfielder)

Same stats have Ritchie Hart as English

I recollect it saying the same thing for Golabek

You telling me the one who cannot be named isn't Engerlish?

Feck. I owe my Wedgie flatmate £50..... :029:
