Sad to see so many Highland League clubs going out to other non league opposition. That would have been quite a shock twenty years ago.

What is the bold supposed to signify?

indeed the North and South divide - I had missed out Inverurie first time around - old habits die hard  :015:

That's what confused me. You've missed Culter too, if you're including all northern sides.

anyone else rooting for edinburgh uni on here :001: reached the 2nd round last year, a certain Markus Paatelainen scored against them to put them out. Think they've got a few of the same team left. I would absolutley love it if we got them at some point

Excuse my ignorance (been living down south too feckin long) I thought only 4 Highland League teams qualified for Scottish Cup, namley the qualifying Cup Semi Finalists.

Have they changed the format?

They have change it and now all Highland League teams enter the cup automatically in Round One.

Thats a shame that. The Qualifying Cup Final was THE day out in the old Highland League days.

They have change it and now all Highland League teams enter the cup automatically in Round One.

Cheers

I was at the Clach game in Edinburgh (and met ICTChris). Clach had all the possession in the first half but no idea where the goals were. City scored with a breakaway just before the break.

Second half was more open with Clach still having the bulk of the possession but fairly toothless.

No doubt the standard in the HL is way down since 1994. Caley or half a dozen others would have gone there and walked it with goals to spare.
