Yes, I'd like to add my congratulations to all the others.  In my opinion, he has been given a lot of undeserved stick on this site, from some people in particular, who see him as the reason for all ICT's backroom unrest (if there is any!).  On a purely footballing front, despite being obviously unfit when he joined us, I think he is a class act, and fully deserves his recall to the Romanian squad.  Personally, I hope he is still with us next season, but if he has to go, then being a current internationalist can do us no harm in the transfer market.  Good luck to him

:clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :024:  Well the guy sounds like a feckin gent and after years of hurt he probably deserves his bit of glory and good fortune. At least he has been given the opportunity to prove himself at the higher level. If he fails or this is a one off it may well be that he has still proved a point to himself and to others - and ICT will benefit - if he gets selected again it could mean prosperous times for ICT and a well deserved pay back.

And for those peeple who never look deeper into my posts I have always commented on the positive and negative playing aspects of MN and placed the blame on other aspects elsewhere.

why does every thread always have toreturn to slagging someone, something off? This thread is not about romanian building contracts, the team formation or about brewsters system being played around individual players. That should be done on one of the other 10 million negative threads on this forum.

This thread is simply to say well done Marius, so lets a least be big enough to congratulate the guy, regardless of other circumstances at the club.

Well done Marius and i for one hope you do well and hope yourperformance leads to some posters on here eating a large piece of humble pie.

I will congratulate Marius. I have never slagged him. I think he is a very good footballer and I'm sure he'll do extremely well alongside his countrymen.

I think Marius could be to blame for some of the dressing room unrest, but through no fault of his own. Players like Russell might be reluctant to sign a contract when a team mate is on ?5k a week!
