  2. It would almost have been worth £80 million to get Rangers consigned to the dustbin of life...but the irritation is, they are still here practically unchanged.

  3. Instead of targeting solely Inverness which unfortunately has sadly failed in my opinion would it not be good practice for ICT to target the whole of the highlands and islands a bit like County have successfully done I would contact every primary school in the highlands and islands and ask each headmaster/headmistress would they like ICT to send two first team squad members to take a one off football session for the kids and at the end dish out some ICT goodies Get the kids involved at a very early stage and in time the fan base will grow Dougal

  4. I was actually quite impressed with Brechin today. They seemed to be able to mount reasonable attacks. I think what we need to remember is that most teams in Scotland do not have big squads anymore as a result you get some decent players down the leagues. Quite a few of Brechin's team had SPL experiance I believe.

  5. The Rangers is what they have chosen to call themselves as their official name. That is the one at the bottom of SFL3. Nobody forced them to do that. So why whine at those who call them their stated and self chosen name? And, to be fair, until they actually acquire a permanent SFL licence, and become an official SFL Football Club......they can call themselves anything they like......as we can all call them anything we like.

  6. A crowd of 4,070 - good for Brechin and a bit of TV money as well. Rangers look disjointed and are far from the oldco team but early days for them I suppose. It will make for some interesting games this season in the league and cups. I think this whole thing could provide a bigger boost for the lower leagues of Scottish football than everybody thinks and maybe overall the general interest in Scottish football.

  11. I think the antics of Giggs and others is just another example of whty football should not be included in the olympics. Giggs would clearly rather play for Man Utd than his country and simply does not have a clue what performing in the Olympics is all about. The Olympics is about being proud to represent your country and performing to the very best of your ability. Giggs is doing neither. Giggs gets paid vast amounts of money for playing his sport whereas others train every bit as hard as him, earn nothing but some modest sponsorship and are immensly proud that they have this opportunity to represent their country in these great games. For many it is the one and only time in their careers that they have a chance for the wider public to appreciate the committment they give to their sport and the acheivements they have made. What the Olympics do not need is for these fine young men and women to have their moment of glory upstaged by some whinging overpaid footballers. Early this morning, for instance a couple of British rowers set an Olympic record in their heat in the women's pairs. That's what I want to watch and applaud in the olympics but when the olympics are over I'll get back to watching football and not rowing and table tennis etc. Do us a favour, Ryan - make sure you lose the next 2 games and then we can all focus on sportsmen and women who understand what it means to represent their country in the olympics.

  12. Could be Alex - not everybody was as honourable as yourself and put their money where there mouth was. If 25% of the people who took the time to write to the Club, Kenny Cameron and the Supporters Trust renewed season tickets as they promised, we would be in a much better position now
