As stated already, players can only move if the club accept payment for the remainder of their contract. However, I don't think that's the point here...the point is we now have some of our most influential players stating that they WANT to be here by signing extensions. Just as important is the fact that there's others who are stating that they WANT new contracts. You then have the cherry on the top with a manager who refused (substantially) more money to go manage elsewhere and who is positively talking about what he is going to do with his guys next season. How/Why anyone would see that as a negative and choose to try and put a dampener on it is beyond me. I'm not naive and I appreciate that there's the potential for offers to come in for players...but I'd far rather we were in the position we are where offers would HAVE to be made, than in a position where players were looking for pre-contracts for next season and/or walking away for nothing!!!2 points

Hi guys and gals No SPL Fixture this weekend to brigten up yer day ? Then I've got an invitation for you all. Come to East End Park to help Save the Pars! We need as many football supporters as possible to get behind us to help our office staff, players and backroom staff and help save our club. It could quite possibly be our last game tomorrow - I know this is an emotive subject and not all supporters of all clubs give a damn about other clubs even those in a differnet division, but I'm hoping for a positive outcome - and from our own support too. We would love as many SPL supporters to attend our game v Dumbarton tomorrow. Admission prices – tickets available at the stadium: Main Stand (on Halbeath Road) £19, concessions £13, Under12s £7 All other stands £17, concessions £11, Under 12s £5 Family tickets – only available in the Norrie McCathie Stand One adult & one u12 £20 / two u12s £22 If you would like to make a donation to help our club, the Pars Supporters Trust have provided a Staff Support Fund to ensure our club staff, players and backroom staff are helped financially and directly. If you would like details on how to donate please do not hesitate to contact me by PM or by my email: [email protected]. Thanks for reading. Buffy x1 point

I once read in the Sun that phone hacking was illegal and they didn't use such powers.1 point

I think PMF is trying to tell you that the only way County dont remain in top six is if we drop points against Hibs and St J and other results also go against them.1 point

Assuming the Soccerbase stats to be correct I've compiled a comparisson of both keepers. Last weeks County game is excluded because both keepers are credited with it. Tony, Played 20. Wins 11. Draws 6. Shutouts 6 Ryan, Played 17. Wins 1. Draws 10. Shutouts 3 Ryan has been very good for us but his injury this season is puting doubt in my mind that he can sustain No1 next season. I do, however, see him as a good standby and help to the No1 choice and I think Tony is just coming onto top form now and we should try and keep him as the No1 with Ryan there to keep him tip top.1 point

I dont see that Sun article as confirming anything. Tony has been offered an extension with us. He's been offered a pre-contract at Killie. He has not come out and said what his choices are. Lets leave all the speculation to the press and get on with supporting who we have at present. I honestly believe that our position in the league come end of season will determine whether folks stay or go. Second place is very possible and the prize very high. That could determine what we are able to offer players for next season and / or who we can bring in.1 point

Gutted to miss tonight's training, but to try and get from snowy aberdeen and back around my working hours is pretty impossible tonight. Plus, the last training session I came through I ended up bringing near biblical rainfall with me which postponed the legends game days later! So by staying through here tonight, the weather will be fine...1 point

Absolutely, all being well we'll have two main cameras, a roaming camera and also cameras behind the goals....maybe a couple of others as well. If anyone has a decentish digital slr (or similar) and would like to assist with match photography then let us know. Our intention is to give the players as close to the full pro matchday experience as possible, so pre/post match interviews etc. will also be done. As will some video/photos from the fans (pro?) training session.1 point
