  1. I really rate Devine. Definitely needs to be played as a centre half though.

  2. We should have signed him just so we could sing "For goodness sakes, we've got the Ricky Ricky Shakes....."

  3. They've both been playing in amateur leagues ever since, roughly the 5th tier of Dutch football. I see the team De Wagt is playing for (ONS Sneek) have a stadium capacity of 950! Sounds like it was good decision not to sign him. I'm sure he was the most ginger person ever! So much so, that when you clicked on the link for the story about him, you got a fright! Edit - Found a photo of him, think he'd have gone down well with the ladies!

  5. You know what the examination looks like in reality? A fitness test and answering 25 questions on the rules with 80% correct answers. At least that's how it was when I was still a referee in 2006 in Austria. When I started in Germany in 1987, to become a new ref you needed to answer 16 out of 20 questions and correctly write a match report including a red-card incident.

  6. Devine is nowhere near our worst player. He is just extremely unlucky in the fact he has warren and meekings ahead of him. He would start for most SPFL sides

  7. Well if the Referee and the assistant Referee were bamboozled by the laws of the game then :- (A) they should not have not been in charge of the game (B) they should now be excluded from controlling any other matches until such time as they have re-sat a full examination on refereeing football matches. © the match should be declared void Because of their inept behaviour, tantamount to being not fit for purpose, the match should now be replayed with competent officials in charge.

  8. It was innovative, enterprising and extremely well thought out but summat that I have never witnessed before. And that is the problem. How many peeple actually understood what had happened at the time or saw it immediately. I certainly didn't and thought that Doran had lost his senses. I even had to watch the replay twice and closely and the Draper touch barely moved the ball - but why the linesman didn't flag straight away - he was probably as bamboozled too. Bottom line is that it was too clever. The main problem and we have been here before is that our system has become too predictable and the other teams are sussing it. Sunday was crying out fer Plan B

Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
