  1. In all honesty, I don't think we will have a busy January transfer window. As I understand it, Sekajja will be leaving the club when his deal is up (according to the courier) I can't see Lewis Horner leaving the club until at least his deal is up in the summer - unless he scored a loan deal elsewhere till summer. I really can't envision Graeme Shinnie leaving until his deal expires too. It would take a big transfer fee to make him or Watkins, Meekings, Mckay and Tansey etc to move in January. I think we may recruit a couple loans for back up but I am not bothered about bringing in anyone if it meant that we can get new deals signed for Watkins and co.

  2. Terrific recognition for one of our own and well done PerthICT for finding this as I didn't even know such a list existed! I also agree with points that Caleyboy and Doofers Dad mention when they state that they hope the club looks after young Christie, develops him and maybe, just maybe reaps some future reward in the transfer market. Alex Jones suggests that Christie's future will depend on his work ethic/lifestyle but from what I've read from messrs Butcher, Malpas & Hughes on several occasions is that Christie's attitude & workrate to training & games has been first class but maybe Alex knows something they don't? Having met the lad in hospitality at the stadium he seems a very grounded and pleasant young man and for me and many, many other season ticket holders in the North stand he has been a welcome breath of fresh air at the club in the past twelve months! Well done young man and I sincerely hope you get the chance in the future to show your talent at an even higher level.

  3. Childrens' hour not really............Tommy Handley, Wilfred Pickles yes + the Goons, Workers' playtime, all on the bbc light programme as was!! V day yes and the previous day my sister and I , living up in Thurso at the time, were out in the town centre waving flags until we were told off by some Warden who chased us off home for jumping the gun with our Celebrations. Also before then tuning in through crackles and whistles on short wave to the LEIPZIG Station on the wireless to listen to what Lord Haw Haw had to say. I also remember that when the 'air raid' siren sounded whilst at school we had to crawl under our desks and stay there till the 'All clear' siren went. Often thought we didn't stand much chance if a bomb ever hit the school. Any more pre war memories Oldies ? Ration books etc. Oh dear strayed off topic again................what is the topic here anyway..............I've forgotten !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I don't think anyone is suggesting that what they did was right or they should be let off with it, in fact if ICT are stung with a fine we should send the bill to them. However my father in law who's in his 60's felt that the stewards should have just let them go whereas I felt they were quite right to detain the lad. So it's not necessarily a generational thing either. Dunno why your pals are having a go about it all the Partick fans I read on P&B seemed to take it in a 'daft laddies' way.. As for beakdown in society which of course is a modern thing with football fans and teenagers in the 70s/80s being always so well behaved. Unfortunatly these things happen sometimes, what shocked me more in a way was the 'liberal tolerance' and utter lack of action shown from the stewards. I'd say threatening never to return over this is kinda entering meltdown territory...

    • Aaron Doran - Club Legend
Shameful: Thanks to Shane Sutherland, the generosity of friends, fans, former colleagues and opponents, Aaron has now had his operation. However it has emerged that he had posted on Instagram regarding his sad dismissal and treatment from the Board of Inverness CT who have treated Aaron in a similar way to which they have been treating the fans. Let's not forget that Aaron was due to have a testimonial for his service to the club.

    • Administration pending unless...
Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
