  1. I was told that Charlie Bannerman has also been seen in Inverness.
  2. Inverness is his home so I dont think any confirmation needed tbh
  3. 1 point
Yes to scanning...but it will be scanned by a turnstile operator. Unmanned entry has caused a lot of clubs a lot of issues and most maintain a human presence at turnstiles as a result.
  4. Probably count against him given that the current board have gone to great lengths to avoid appointing friends and family to prominent positions within the club. ?
  5. I wonder if that would pave the way for Donald Park to be reunited with Robbo. I could certainly live with that.
  6. McCart a real bonus signing. I thought he was a real potential for the short time he was here under Foran. He could be a massive player for us and a real sell on profit for the club. Likes of White, jury's out... But then right now as far as striking options I'm more than confident with Oakley Austin and Mckay. White could be a Kris Boyd style right place right time snatcher
  7. Davie has now completed his bike ride. Well done
  8. As long as it's not interesting in the way that last season's start to the season was ?
  9. Good luck to the new board. I look forward to hearing of the progress made and more importantly to hearing that they are all committed to working together to promote the interests of all supporters of our club. I also look forward to hearing that the three late nominations - subject to being deemed valid - are co-opted onto the board at the next meeting. The more the merrier. I also re-iterate CTO's offer to help in any way we can .... At least 5 of those 6 are or have been active members of the site so just holler .....
  10. Statement from Alan Russell, Supporters Direct and Independent chair of the Election Management Group 6 nominations were received, all nominees meet the eligibility criteria and have been suitably nominated/proposed/seconded, and now form the board of CJT – which now meets the requirements laid out in your rules · These board members will serve for a period of three years, or longer should they stand for re-election in future · 3 late nominations were received, these will be reviewed at the first meeting of the new board, and if those individuals meet the eligibility criteria and possess skills/abilities complementary to the board, could be co-opted onto the board · A priority for the new board will be to review the membership process, and resolve the issues which led to dissatisfaction from some members in recent months · Nominations will be sought at each AGM to continually refresh the board, with existing board members standing down by rotation (and hopefully seeking re-election! The six newly elected members are: Don Johnstone Peter Mutton Stewart Murdoch Kath Fraser Ewen MacRae Laura Grant As a result of this, there will be no need for the election meeting scheduled for this coming Tuesday. Instead the new Board will hold a Board meeting at which the 3 late nominations will be discussed. A statement from the Board will be issued following that meeting.
  11. Great to see Jamie McCart back. He was here at a rough time, but I liked his attitude and application. Even when only a sub, his half time warm up routine showed his commitment. Whether this has any bearing on Gary Warren staying or not, time will tell, but we now have cover in all the back four positions. it will be fascinating to see who become our first picks: Mckay and Donaldson are a solid pairing, but will McCart start ahead of Mckay? Will Mckay be first pick at right back ahead of Rooney? Roll on 14 July and our first cup game!
  12. It does make you wonder how Robbo would have done with the budget that Yogi & Foran had....that's a pointless 'What If?' question, I know... Good to sign Jamie McCart on a permanent deal...a known quantity & a decent signing with plenty of potential. It shows one of the reasons Robbo was appointed this time around...he knew the club & took an interest in it, so he was, no doubt, well aware of McCart from his previous loan spell...
  13. We may have limited resources but the recruitment under John Robertson has been far more promising than under either of his predesdors who had much much bigger budgets.
  14. I'd agree with that, most players that would be instantly recognisable to me would either be ex-players or players we couldn't afford... I'm not against re-signing players, but only on the basis of what they can offer us NOW, rather than what they did previously....&, as I said elsewhere in this thread, only if they fit into our current wage structure. Re-signing players does work sometimes (Wyness, Vigurs), but it's more often that not, not the best way to build a squad.. Far more likely that Robbo would go for younger, unproven players who can get a chance & have something to prove.
