I'm not sure what your issue is. The goals conceded this week were a terrible OG from Oakley I think and a penalty. Nothing to do with Ridgers, he's been one of our most consistent performers since Christmas.

He's the best keeper in our league.

Ridgers had a shaky start last season but grew into one of our most consistent players and one I have confidence in. He is a good stop stopper and can kick long and generally accurately. And he's my wife's favourite after he served her when helping out in the shop one day last season when she was getting a present for my brother in law's birthday .... only she did not know who he was at the time (she knew he was Mark as the others in the office called him that and he was in training gear) and she didn't get the voucher autographed!

It is always harder to play against 10 men; We were drawn into being over confident when we perished the opening 3 fixtures; We have finally unearthed a penalty taker; we remain unbeaten in the league; we are making chances; we have a better squad and changes are easier to consider or make; we are a better team away from home; looking like a league where many are capable of beating each other and there will be no runaway leaders - "Always look on the bright side of life"

I hate to say it but I also think we are lacking leadership on the park. As captain Carlos isn't rallying the team. We had much more bite from Gary Warren in that respect and when he wasn't playing Ian Vigurs could whip up the rest of the team. The only one that looks like he can do this is Coll Donaldson.

As poor as today's performance was, that is a bit defeatist. We can get better. We demonstrated that during the last ten weeks of last season with substantially the same squad of players. What is needed is more commitment, more belief and more consistency. Much of that is down to the players but some of it also to the manager and coaching staff.

Ridgers fine with me. The issue is with some in front of him imho
