  1. Nice story here about how it came about that in Nigeria, the term Dundee United is used as slang for an idiot. Dundee is too. It sounds like a fanciful early April Fool story but it appears to be true. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/mar/11/the-unlikely-story-of-how-dundee-united-became-an-insult-in-nigeria
  2. Not sure if this is an appropriate time to mention that my wife is “Dundee Utd” through and through.

There is a livestream next Tuesday for the cup game: https://ictfc.com/fixture-info-buckie-thistle-a
  4. Fingers crossed existing renewals are offset to a degree. It would make it an easier sell to my accountant (wife) but I'll renew with my son 100%.
  5. I will try and scrape enough from my pension to renew mine I do hope we are able to get back to the stadium for the start of the season rather than watch online!
  6. I was at sea all my days not alot of time at home, season ticket holder who only got to half the games, even missed 2 Cup Finals, the latter greatest day of all time. I will still support this club, accept rough with the smooth and trust things will get better. Now that I am retired last 4 years only this Covid has stopped my drive up and down the A96. So yes, I will renew my seat because I support this club and always will.
  7. Mine will be renewed, in eternal hope of better season(s) ahead. Football clubs are for life, not just Christmas.
  8. Use it or lose it situation.

Buckie will be well up for this cup tie exactly the same as we would have been back in our HL games. Taking on a higher placed team who are out form is on ideal chance to cause an upset. At this point in time I wouldn't relish an away tie in Dingwall if I'm honest.
  10. Holding a trophy for even one day seems a long way off to me
  11. I think Ross Nicholson could be a good shout tbh
