  1. The cynic in me thinks its ST renewal time. However any improved communication welcome
  2. Pleased to read that we at least offered Neil McCann the job. That shows ambition despite our constrained financial circumstances. Proper, constructive and regular communication between the board and the fans is welcome and long overdue. Let's hope that there is a sincere commitment to that and not something that they are merely paying lip service to.
  3. I must say that it was a very good interview so well done to the club and Scot Gardiner :-). Very promising that foreign coaches have applied for the job
  4. Scot Gardiner open interview (embeded video link disappeared???)
  5. There’s also a reference to this structural change being brought about partly by circumstance. I can’t help wondering if it is the case that, for whatever reason, the manager role isn’t suitable for Robbo any more, so we’ve created this position because we were committed to pay him for another 2 years anyway.
  6. Exciting times ahead with a new head coach and developments within the club. This is more like it, good communications doesn't hurt anyone. I like the idea of sensible interviews with someone who seems to know what behind the scenes football is all about. 👏👏👍
  7. I was thinking along the same lines as you O C G, however just lets wait and see what he delivers apart from season ticket price increase.
  8. Terry Butcher was the right man for the right time and raised the profile of the club and laid the foundations for the success that followed. However, even in the unlikely event he would return, he is no longer the right person and the time is not right for such an appointment quite apart from the disrespectful manner in which he engineered and conducted his disastrous move to Easter Road. An important part of our past but time to move on.
  9. Well deserved but Dave Carson and Daniel McKay are very unfortunate to be omitted.
  10. Well done Toddy! Let's hope he signs a new contract with us.

A number of colleagues of my neighbour were going down for the “party”. That is from just one workplace, so I’m sure a lot travelled from this area, selfishly risking not just their safety but the safety of us all. With what’s going on in Moray just now, we are not immune from the pandemic in this area and, if anything, more at risk given we were less affected earlier so we have lower immunity levels.

Two more days have passed and still not a word of condemnation from the club. The club knew that something like this was planned. They ought to have warned in advance that anyone gathering would be banned from attending matches at Ibrox for at least ten years. The very least they can do now is is to state that such a ban will apply to anyone identified by the authorities as taking part in the gathering with anyone identified as taking part in the violence being banned for life. I have no doubt that there are decent Rangers fans and many of them but this was not a small minority. Between fifteen and twenty thousand selfish morans gathered in a city that has a spike in infection that could yet translate to the rest of the country and Prejudice us all. There is a thread that stretches through Barcelona, via Manchester and now, twice this year in the middle of a global pandemic to a devastated George Square which has to be broken and only strong words and even stronger actions from the club can do so. A contuing silence is just not good enough.
