  1. Too many people within the support always bitching about other supporters and what they are up to,ok the guy doesn't rate Foran he is entitled to his opinion some people like players in different ways he pays his money for his season ticket or ticket on the day then he is entitled to shout his support or frustrations all he wants. Some people in the ICT support would be better getting on with watching the game instead of their fellow supporters Outrageous behaviour calling someone a Donught where will it all end,if it ever gets to people calling players eclairs i'd call the polis!!!

  3. I'm a bit mystified too, Gordy. Why the animosity towards the Diggers? Thought it was great in there as usual pre-match, despite how busy it was, Great crack, great staff. Did something happen post-match, CC? Cheers. Been really impressed with the magnanimity of the Hearts fans on P&B too since the game. After our draws against the old firm, the message boards were rammed with supporters of those clubs waiting to tell us how pish we were and how lucky we'd been. They were talking rubbish, but Hearts supporters might have had more of a case to be aggrieved, as they have easily been the best team we've played over two fixtures, and had the better chances on Saturday. Instead, we get realism, rationality, graciousness and a recognistion that organisation and good defending are part of a successful team. Good on you.

  4. Jeezo, I must have missed all this despite not being far away from this. Doofer, the guy with the flag and his mate were on the wind up. Flagman was just conforming to the "hun lite" stereotypeand the odd surreptitious nazi salute kinda gave it away. I'd suggest that that flag has other, almost universally understood, connotations in the central belt but hey, If you give it, you gotta take it. I don't think that "ten quid in tesco's" was a terrible thing to shout at some rotund ned in a vomit yellow trackie top. We need to chill people, it's that time of year.

  5. I'll say again, 1 guy reacted badly after someone he didn't know decided to make something out of a nothing remark. Some of what was said after was well over the top and he was told that by the rest of us. The only reason I got involved was to prevent the situation getting any worse. There were 10 of us at the game on Saturday, all ICT supporters and have been since the telford street days. There was nothing but encouragement (and nail biting) from everyone else. 10 of us on a stag day... it got messy (ask san miguel & the knowledge). Abuse at Hearts fans?? they had a red hand of ulster flag on show and deserved all the "abuse" they received. As for our right to be at the game, or, "these are the supporters we don't need" comments from you and your boy. I'm glad you are taking into context the time's we have followed the team around the country, the season tickets held in our group, when we turned out when it wasn't fashionable to follow ICT in the lower divisions. I'm all for us encouraging kids going to the game but I fail to see why you think you have any right to decide we aren't the type of the fans the club needs. Especially since it seems you don't have all the facts of the situation and decided to draw your own conclusion from afar. and you are? 3rd game of the season and proud of it. I go to the games I can make it to, unfortunately not as many as I'd like. Probably why you haven't seen me posting on here too often recently, does that make me less of a supporter?

  6. - and calling for a club employee to be informed to sort it out - that is Kindergarten Couldnt agree more mate but just shows what many in the support are like, people complaining about nonsense like this clearly never went football before 1994!!

  7. Rather sad thread isnt it - and here am poor me with the worst reputation and disciplinary record around. Drunk and Incapable and Drunk and Disorderly(ish), standing up and singing incessantly (including swearing, taunting away supporters - especially when there is a hint of sectarianism), friendly albeit offensive banter withn away supporters are all acceptable terrace behaviours IMHO but - bullying fellow fans (usually younger fans); picking fights within your own group, doing it in the safety of a group behind you; slagging off players or the club are unacceptable ICT behaviours. And sorry but carrying it on here - there is a PM system - and calling for a club employee to be informed to sort it out - that is Kindergarten.

  9. To the OP; if you're unhappy with the conduct of a fan have a quiet word with them at half time. Please don't come on here and start on about it days after the event from behind a faceless avatar. On a much brighter note being told by hearts fans all week that "we pumped yous 1-1" has been highly amusing.

  10. Indeed. Too many folk on here and at the games more concerned with the behaviour of others than the game itself. Every club has people who follow it who may not be 'PC' if you like. We're no different. I know a few personally who like to shout and swear at games, myself included (although the majority is directed at the ref and the opposing players), it's the norm at games and it isn't going to go away. If you don't like difference of opinion or shouting and swearing at games, football really isn't for you.

  11. Further proof that Lennon is a clueless fool and has pissed money away on signings that clearly aren't good enough for the SPL. If Darryl Murphy is "worth" £1.5 million () then our Rooney (the good one) is worth at least £8 million.

  12. Your first post and this, for the most of it, are inaccurate. He is mouthy, always has been, but didn't kick off until he was getting pulled up for a throw away remark about a miss placed pass. No a welsh flag is fine. To be honest I wasn't bothered with the flag but I can understand why others would be. Again, you are trying to use a one off incident regarding 2 people to reflect another 9 fans who were sitting enjoying the match and encouraging the team.

  13. Thought I would interject with a jambo post, overall thought it was a really good game tad frustrating from our point of view but thems the breaks. Gotta say I was very impressed with your lot, good movement and passing especially Rooney who was excellent at occupying a couple of defenders a time. Im surprised Hayes is being criticised as much on here as I thought he did ok especially as he didnt get much service and I dont think defending is his game from what iv saw and heard of him. You have the basis of a pretty good side there and remind me a wee bit of Leveins Utd a season or so back, Solid CH's, reliable midfielders fast wide players and a confident striker. As for us, the press the last three games have bummed up big Kev, Iv slaughtered him as he could do a lot more than he does, and despite all the comments above that was one of Temps poorer games over the last month. Against Aberdeen he was absolutely unplayable, they were and are mince but even 3 on 1 they couldnt handle him. Rudi was quiet too otherwise we played well apart from the first 25 minutes. Good luck for the rest of the season except against us!

  15. I was actually going to come on here today and start a topic about this very thing because it annoyed me that much, so quite glad someone else noticed this mornoic behaviour by some of our so called 'supporters' on Saturday... Infact, I wouldn't call these idiots supporters. Just complete clowns. A group of boys sat in the row behind us at the game on Saturday, and one in particular with ginger hair, was constantly referring to Ritchie Foran throughout the game as a 'donut'... I don't think I heard him shout anything positive about the team the whole game. Seriously, what is that all about? We are currently enjoying our most successful spell as a club ever, and still you get people shouting nonsense like this. Let's be honest we all know who the donut is here, and it sure ain't Ritchie Foran. Then my mate, sat next to me, turned round and questioned why the hell he was calling our club captain a donut when we were drawing 1-1 away to the current 3rd best team in the country? He mumbled something like 'am I not entitled to my opinion' before of his aggro mates, another idiot, stood up and told my mate to 'sit the **** down' or something along those lines. As someone else above said, even after it calmed down, they started it up again. They weren't supporting the team on Saturday, just shouting ridiculous comments aimed at our own players. And when Foran got taken off mid way through the second half, whilst the rest of us were chanting his name, the ginger destroyer behind us thought it would be better to change the words to 'ritchie foran is a donut'... It was just cringe worthy listening to him. Saturday for me was one of the best and most enjoyable away games of the season so far, the crack on the train on the way down and back was first class, was a quality game of football and overall another brilliant away day following ICT. Just a shame the day was slightly marred by these morons, who's aim seemed to be not to enjoy the game of football and get behind ICT, but to simply cause trouble and abuse people. I also would be happy never to see any of them at at ICT game again, our club does not need 'supporters' like this. And I also know at least 2 of them that were in the group are members of this forum. Lets see if they show their true colours and come out and justify their/their mates behaviour. I somehow doubt they will.

  16. I'm not sure on this one, McCann can be a bit hit or miss and his passing is very wayward at times. All this, along with the fact that he is very injury prone makes me less keen to keep him for longer.

  17. Leave Dougal alone - He is merely a lonely, gay person who is getting in touch with his feminine side. His partner is a male blow up doll and he is not referring to female looks or knowledge of football - he is referring to their fashion and make up - becos you should understand that he is wearing something similar as he types away in his wee flat on Kinnairdie Brae. One should have compassion with transexuals and not ridicule them. All power to ya Dougal Gudgie Cof.

  18. First off "the ginger destroyer" is my mate, those who know him will see him in the Innes before every home game. I am the "idiot" who told your mate to "just sit the **** down" because, without sounding childish, if he kept his mouth shut in the first place the flippant remark would have just been that. Instead he decided to mutter some rant which achieved the argument he was looking for. He then gets "his friends" to post their discontent on a forum about a nothing incident that he started. Yeh "the ginger destroyer" went over the top to make his point about having his own opinion but he didn't take kindly to someone picking out a comment about a bad pass. ffs "donut" is hardly the strongest language you will hear at in a football stand. "They weren't supporting the team on Saturday, just shouting ridiculous comments aimed at our own players" I'll let the idiot remark slip but talking absolute p!sh just to try and make you look like a good guy shows exactly what you are all about. The rest of us were telling our boy to pipe down just as I told your mate... there was no need for it to have happened in the first place. I'd love to know why you weren't this chatty at the game and instead decided to post on the internet 2 days letter when everyone else has forgotten you and your mate existed.

  19. I was sitting very near the top left corner of the stand at tynecastle and was very much enjoying my 1st away game this season. However the whole experience was marred by a few ICT fans who seemed only happy if they were causing trouble and abusing people. The main offender was constantly using the "c" word and hurling abuse towards the hearts fans that were sitting at the far right corner of the main stand (a bit of fun banter is good but this was verbal abuse) He then started to slag off most of the ICT by saying there were all "donuts" and that foran has no place in the side (i think we know who the donut is and it aint foran). Then, this lad and his mate started to have a go at the fans in front of me because they were disagreing with there "donut" remark about foran saying he is a star player for ICT. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but when you start swearing to people and basically treatening them that they are wrong is disgracefull. I would be happy never to see these people at an ICT game again, your support is not welcome!!!

  20. It's good that we took a point off the Hertz on Saturday and kept the away run going with virtually 10 men on the field. Jonny Hayes shouldn't have started this one - it was blindingly obvious to almost everyone there that he had a major problem. Why was he not subbed at halftime? It used to be in years gone by that players who's fitness was in doubt had to prove themselves with a test before the start of a game. Does that not happen any more? We might have done even better on Saturday if we had started with 11 fully fit players.

    • Hamilton -V- Inverness CT - Play off Final 1st Leg - Preview
However all is not well and we just kept our heads above water thanks to Arbroath being rubbish. Onto the play offs and an insipid performance at Links Park left us all wondering if our time has come to drop into oblivion. Our performance certainly would not look out of place in the lower leagues. We clung on for a 0-0 draw away from home and scraped a 1-0 win at Inverness with Billy Mckay saving our blushes. Everything about the club has negative undertones at the moment.

    • Inverness CT 1-0 Montrose Play-Off Second Leg (0-0)
Little Consolation: Inverness will face Hamilton Accies in the Play-Off final after nervously scraping past part-time Montrose who were eventually reduced to ten men when Blair Lyons was sent off after an off the ball incident in the 84th minute involving Morgan Boyes. Inverness had dominated throughout, but failed to capitalise on their possession, and as per the entire season failed to create much of note. The first half was livlier than the first leg, but the same problems showed up our lack of quality. We started with no wingers and Billy Mckay as usual in a withdrawn role. It's not worked all season, so why should it suddenly work now. A woeful first half ended goalless and it was on the hour and out of the blue when Billy Mckay prodded in from three yards to score the only goal of the game following a corner

    • Inverness CT -V- Montrose - Second Leg (0-0)
As much as we have criticised the Caley Jags performance on Tuesday night, let's not lose sight of the fact that Montrose are a decent League 1 side with a good blend of experience and talented prospects. For our part, let's keep them as a good League 1 side and that means no room for faffing about. Time has run out now, there's no hiding places and no room for shirkers. Ditch the sideways passing or put goal posts in front of the Main Stand and tuck shops.

    • Montrose 0-0 Inverness CT - Play Off 1st Leg
      FULL TIME: 0-0

All to play for on Saturday, but don't hold your breath...

However, if we continue like this, it will be our final game this season.

Best performer for us was Samson Lawal, the only bright spark on the field.

Alloa 2-2 Hamilton was the other semi-final score tonight. On this evidence, I doubt either side will be quaking in their boots.

    • Inverness CT 3-1 Morton - Report
It was a lovely evening for a game of football, what could possibly go wrong? Well, what did go wrong was Queen's Park beat an understrength Airdrie 2-0 at Hampden, therefore despite beating Morton 3-1, Inverness head for the play-offs. Morgan Boyes opened the scoring with a thumping volley after half an hour. Kirk Broadfoot benefited from slack defending to level before the break then proceeded to earn the wrath of the home support with an embarrassing celebration in front of the North Stand. Cammy Harper relieved Billy Mckay of penalty kick duties and duly slotted home from the spot ten minutes after the break. The scoring was completed just after the hour when Sean McAllister drilled home into the bottom corner. Robbie Muirhead had been sent off for simulation then taking a wee fit to himself and was promptly sent off after 58 minutes just after Harper had knocked in his penalty kick, probably aggrieved that he never earned a spot kick for his dramatic dive.
