I'm happy with that signing. I remeber liking him when he was playing for Stranraer. Good luck to him, hope he does well for us.

Oh Dear.....lol
That's gotta be nonsense really, think about it... First if the keeper has the ball in his hands then the ball has "come to a stop" so if he threw it (or kicked it) anywhere it would not really matter as it is a shoot out. If what you say was the case ("is the rule that play is still live until the ball comes to a stop?") then if a keeper saved the kick then someone could net the rebound surely. There are probably some wierd rules relating to shoot outs however. Caley D is your man for weird footie rules tho!

Caledonian Scarf?
I have a Jags scarf, it belonged to my Dad but I borrowed it to wear to the Challenge Cup final game against Alloa back in... (whenever it was!) as I'd left mine under a pool table I was dancing on the night before (don't ask!) and he's never got it back! I like the Caley v Jags banter and am proud of our Highland league past. One more thing... MON THE JAGS!!

I'll swap you this for it...- Hibs
I agree however I do think Calderwood is a good manager, it will likely take him a long time to get the team where he wants but I think he's capable. Whether he'll get the time to do so however I doubt very much.- Say no to 10 team league
Two of them (Hibs and Aberdeen) were fighting relegation this season. Which makes they're stance even less understandable. At least we agree on something. We must be doing something right - Australia ranked 20, Scotland ranked beyond 60. This is a fair reflection of the standing of both teams. Especially given the situatin where Scotland receiveds more ranking points for defeating the Faroe Islands than Australia would get for defeating Japan even though Japan is ranked 100 places higher than the Faroe Islands. The Aussie national team may well be better than the Scottish national team. That does not mean the league is better. It is not. And that is what this is about... improving the SPL.- New signing(s) to be announced.....
Falkirk?... That's a step up...- Lookalikes
Aye, maybe you're right Mr.Dee. He must be mellowing in his old age...- Lookalikes
- County appoint new manager
Hope so! I think there was more to his leaving Hibs than the press releases said.- SPL 'joker' card
Then they'll complain when they have a fixtures backlog.- County appoint new manager
Great news for any non-c*unty fans!- 'Fans' at Aberdeen match
Not quite sure where you were sitting AF but I left Pittodrie due to the behaviour of a few stewards and I won't be returning.- Fixtures after the split
Let's hope we can be the team to hammer the final nail into hamilton's SPL coffin!- The race to the SPL
Raith for me, I have some friends in Kirkcaldy.- It'll never happen (unfortunately)
That's a great post Caley D.- Graham Bayne
Very best of luck to him.- Killie looking for new boss
He's done a good job everywhere he has been. Got Cowden promoted (think they won the league), done well with Hibs (2 top 6 finishes, yet the fans didn't like him - surprise, surprise!), a third place finish with a Finnish team and a great job with Killie. Seems like a nice chap too. Best of luck to him and to Killie (they're gonna need it!)- Local derby planned for september
This is a very good idea but not to split the funds, maybe vary the charity each year but it should be one nominated charity. Or maybe the clubs set up a charitable trust to distribute the funds how they feel best over the course of the year, although this may not be worth the extra work. Either way a good idea. Maybe this could be combined with the Tony Fraser Memorial, ie: the winning club gets the trophy but the funds are still raised for a nominated charity. Anyway, a great idea and well done to both clubs. Still hope we cuff the gudgie minks tho!- Roy McBain
All the best Roy. And thanks.- Dundee again in the news
Not really Dundee FC's fault tho is it? Sounds like a right wee w@nk3r tho.- how many people are interested in abstainers
The good old days! Do you like my T-shirt Alex?...- Least favourite team
Dundee. We all know why. And I don't like Falkirk. Mostly 'cos of their fans, I can't recall ever meeting one I liked. And they relegated us. And Steven Pressely. But mostly their fans. I know a Dee fan and he's a nice chap, we broke him at Mooncat's stag do!! I have a very strong dislike for Liverpool, but not as much as Man City (and Chelsea). - Caledonian Scarf?
