  1. Paul Sheerin.........
  2. No need, I've been pushing it from about 4:30pm today......
  3. I have to say that I'm now feeling very concerned about our prospects and much of the blame has to be laid at the managers door. I'm not one to call for the managers head but if we don't see any improvement in our position by the County game the serious questions will need to be asked. Forget about Munro, Tokeley etc, the manager has the right to build his own team as he sees fit. My issue is that the players we've brought in are completely inadequate for the demands of the SPL. None of the players signed have had any SPL experience or much experience of Scottis football which must bring his judgement into question. No league win in 5 this season and only 5 league wins this calendar year does not make for good reading. I think the 3 games in October are the make or break (County, St.Johnstone & Dundee), if we're adrift after those I can't see any way back for Butcher in the eyes of the fans.
  4. Indeed, lets give the guy a chance. I think what people are forgetting is that he originally turned his back on football to go to Uni and get himself a decent education and not due to his ability. By the sounds of it he's got his head screwed on which can only be a positive influence around the place. Welcome to the glorious ICT Gary!
  5. Aberdeen? Really? What an odd move if it goes through. Jonny is a far better player than that and I'm surprised that he would see it as his best move. Aberdeen have a horrific amount of debt and by all accounts if they sign Jonny thats a good chunk out of any avaialble wage budget unless further players move on. Considering the money isn't that much better (and its not) I can;t see the attractiveness of a sideways step when Jonny should be aiming higher. I can't help but feel that this might all be down to his agent looking for a quick buck.
  6. New Stoke City away shirt :love03:
  7. Not RC, think further East and down the divisions.
  8. There were some c*unty fans just below us in the main stand (including one peculiar cross dresser (!) :0 who looked like they were heading for a lecture on safe animal "husbandry". All bad shirts and flat caps. They gave Rosscoe his usual pelters, and I asked one if it had made his day when Tokes scored. He looked like a bulldog chewing a wasp when he was told to get used to it for next year. Stag do (which Hiro unfortunately had to leave in Oban). The poor groom in the wig was the only ICT fan in amongst them and most certainly was not giving Rosscoe any abuse. The groom also got a signed shirt by the absolute gentlemen and legends that are Grant and Russell.
  9. Looks to me like depriving the players of their day off on a continual basis is producing the wrong kind of backlash. Not the sort of behaviour to bring a squad together.

Is it just me or is anyone else disturbed by the fact that we appear to have played far better football in the 3rd division than we do now..... Or is that the rose tinted specs I wonder?
  11. We're at least as bad as we were last week. Not the reaction I was hoping for.
  12. Well that was disappointing. Not for the first time this season the team has frozen when the TV cameras show up. I was about to slag the tactics today but that would have been to recognise that there was any. Shinnie and Meekings were poor but to be honest they were hung out to dry, where were our wide men when Rangers attacked? I lost count of the number of times Rangers managed to get 2 on 1 against our full backs. It does say something though when Proctor made a huge improvement to our back four when he came on. Any idea whats happened to Piermayer? He was playing solidly and then all of a sudden he's out. I think some of the comments on Tansey are a bit harsh, he got the ball down and tried to keep on the deck at times which is more than can be said for some. Himself and Foran were just completely outgunned with Davis, Edu and also McCulloch dropping back in. TB should have recognised this sooner and hooked Ross to bring in OTJ - Whats the point in taking him on with 2 mins left? Mackay actually did ok with the c**p he was being served up, what he's supposed to do with a ball a foot above his head and up against the mutant Goian I don't know. I have to say I'm fairly disillusioned with whats going on at the minute. There's just no long term planning, we can't build anything with signing 10 players each summer on short term deals. Where the hells the long term vision for the club? On a final note, we've probably been harshly done with the admin situation at Rangers in that they've managed to go through 2 weeks without having to bin any of their playing staff. In the coming weeks it's likely that their opponents will be playing a skeleton team unlike ourselves. For all the talk of this being a weak Rangers side they still fielded 9 full internationals (Perry & Aluko both being u21 internationsl) and the starting line up still have a weekly wage bill of £120k per week.
  13. Why take off a striker and take on a sitting midflielder when we need a goal?
  14. Commentary team are giving Proctor a real hard time. How many chances does this guy need?
  15. "David Proctor makes a poor clearing header" Damn: beaten to it,....
  16. Balls!
  17. Big staggies though.
  18. Best: Probably Niculae. Super touch and awareness of space and the only ICT player thus far to have played in a major international championship while at the club. Best moment was his lone frontman performance when we came back to beat Celtic 3-2. I hope the memory of him isn't soured by legal case as he was a thoroughly decent bloke. Very honorouble mention to Jaunjo and for some reason I struggle to see Hastings as foreign otherwise he's a shoe in. Worst: Vetle f**king Andersen (Enough people call him that to convince me that was his middle name)
  19. Won't disagree with that and I don't think anyone will forget his super performance v Clyde back in May 2004 when Rosscoe was suspended. The problem is that he now just doesn't seem up to the task of SPL football these days. Whether its doen to his injury problems over the last couple of years or some other reason but he never seems to be anything but poor when he plays first team football. I appreciate that he's been a good servant, model professional and decent bloke but that shouldn't be enough.
  20. Just imagine if they had played together...... Tade to chase the lost causes & Rooney to finish the hard work :love02:
  21. This team, however I don't think that Rosscoe will be fit which leaves me with the sinking feeling that Proctor might start.
  22. Reverse Psychology
  23. Brilliant. Top 6 looks too difficult to achieve, out of the cups early. What a c**p season!
  24. Sounds like a good performance but we just didn't have the luck. How often have we said that this season though? Unsurprisingly we appear to have been hard done by the officials again. Allegedly replays may suggest that not only was Foran onside but the ball may have been over the line when Wallace cleared. This explains why TB was so raging after the game- has he done his media commitments yet?
  25. Sounded like the second goal was an absolute horror show at the back. Golobart sounds like he;s adding to rather than answering our defensive problems. I'm looking forward to hearing TB's response to that second half.
