Thats Dunfermline (H), Dunfermline (A), Hearts (H), Hearts (A), Motherwell (H), Hibs (H) where we have conceded goals in the last 10-15mins that have stopped us climbing off the bottom.

Abysmal couple of decisions but what else would we expect. The most disappointing thing is that we were looking good for at least a point and even after the sending off I felt we were comfortable. The only consolation is that when we look at the fixture list this isn't a game where I would immediately expect us to get anything out of it. Dunfermline are losing again, if we keep showing the improvements we are it won't be long till we've left them isolated at the bottom and we're looking to close in on the top 6

Oh god. this is brilliant. So it appears that Killie are the "we're going to give someone a thumping soon" team. That 2 year deal for Andrew Shinnie is starting to look like it could be a very decent piece of business.

How often is this going to happen this season? Gutting.

Do we think Proctor will suffer the same fate as Golobart or Aldred? Thought not.

Negative, negative, negative, whinge, whinge, whinge... Am I doing it right? I think thte fact that we have management stability is a good thing. I understand that performances have been patchy however we are now seeing signs that the changes are finally starting to make a positive impact. I'm fairly sure if the worst happens and we do go down there will be some kind of break clause, however I'm fairly sure it won't be needed. Terry and Mo are the right men for this club and anyway - Who on earth could we realistically bring in that could achieve any better?

Can't understand all the Tade bashing going on. He's a potential rough diamond, with a bit of hard work and refinement he could prove to be a very good signing. He gives everything for the team and his endeavour alone makes him a good guy in my book. And another thing. I'm hearing a lot moaning about his scoring record, well actually if he continues scoring at the current rate he'll end up with 13 league goals from 38 games. Only a handful of players scored more than that in the SPL last season and a certain Mr Rooney finished on 15 from 38 and I seem to remember him taking 3/4 chances to get a goal. A little persepctive wouldn't go amiss.

Doran looked so short of match fitness that I think a spell coming off the bench will do him good. Similarly Tade might be able to exploit his energy by coming on later in the game.

Text from the old boy suggests we have been nothing short of abysmal. We can't even hoof the ball properly never mind make a 5 yard pass. Drastic improvement required as by all accounts Dunfermline are crap too.

That was horsesh!t and I don't think the fact that it was a pre season friendly can be used as too much of an excuse. The season starts in 11 days and we really look underprepared. If we don't get the right back, midfielder and striker that we need fairly sharpish it's going to be difficult to hit the ground running. Not that I'm too anxious about the season but I would like to get off to a good start and think we are a little behind where we should be.

Damn you (disclaimer: I don't know who you is) for calling off the Linfield game. I was hugely excited about getting a 'home' game. Something a bit bizarre about it to be honest as it was only confirmed on Saturday and then called off yesterday. I wonder if we were perhaps considering a tour of NI as a back up plan as the south of England tour looked in doubt. Oh well, I can only hope for an NI tour next year.

Aaargh! Lack of concentration there. Have to say that Celtic haven't threatened to much and we could have been ahead earlier if Richie had his shooting boots on. Feeling quietly confident looking at the game changing ability on our bench.

Couldn't decide which forum to post this in (ICT, general nonsense, Olde Inverness) so just thought I would bung it in here. I was delighted to read this week that John Beaton was given the Merit Award at the Scottish FA's Grassroots Awards. Having played under John as a youngster for Inverness United and known the efforts and time that he dedicates to football I really feel that this kind of recognition is not only well deserved but potentially overdue. He is certainly one of the good guys around and there can't be many people involved in Inverness football who haven't had some kind of dealings with him. An absolute gentleman and I can't think of anyone who would have a bad word to say. Cheers to John

I think that the topic is slightly misleading here. Nothing has actually been confirmed yet and 'broad agreement has been reached' - i.e. there is still some dissenting voices on various issues. I think that the wording from our chairman is very interesting indeed and I believe that he is hinting at (not so) hidden agendas as well as the fact some clubs are being railroaded in some way. I wouldn't be surprised if certain clubs (looking at you OF and Aberden) are perhaps using bully boy tactics to get this through. e.g. threatening to make life awkward in some way. We need to remember that any vote cannot take place for another couple weeks and therefore the fans still have a window of opportunity. If we are all serious about this then some form of organised protest has to take place and involve fans from all clubs. Whether this is a sit out, or leaving on mass after 20mins I don't know but it has to be visible to get the attention of these idiots.

Well that was crap. I had been looking forward to getting home for christmas and getting a couple of games in but thats left me slightly deflated. Frustratingly it also seems to have undone all of the good work over the last four weeks. I think today finally showed up the lack of options within the squad. All season we have really relied on just 12-14 players and they really looked tired today. I think all of the football that the small squad has played just caught up with them and it was a bad day at the office. Hopefully, we can get a couple of additions in January to freshen up the squad and provide extra opportunities for rotation otherwise we will find it difficult to maintain our lofty position.
