  1. Commando comics had great educational value. I never did any german at school, but the comics have got me through trips to Berlin and Munich. "Donner Und Blitzen" usually gets you a kebab and a beer, "schnell" gets you a double room for the night, and "Englischer Schweinhund" gets you a round of applause.
  2. Terrific sky. Photoshop? :015: :015: :015: :015: No my guess is the sky is genuine.....
  3. Ooooops! Forgot :007:
  4. It needs to be online first, somewhere else on the www. If it's just one or two, email it to me and I'll post it.
  5. Pretty impressive Johnboy. If you ever want to send Viera down here for a holiday........ Cheers for the comment in SoS BTW :021:
  6. Here's one from our very own caley100. Ben Nevis from the air: [img width=500 height=332]http://mantis.caleythistleonline.com/oddpics/nevis.jpg
  7. Well done. You guys should get a flickr account. Here's mine the44mantis on flickr
  8. Cheers guys, I was away hillwalking yesterday (does that count as another talent) and it got pointed out to me by somebody on the bus who had bought it. Never got back till 8pm. (moderator's hat on) I'm moving this to AG :003:
  9. Going out shortly but was at the game.... as were a certain Mr Coia, Mr Yompa and Mr KY would you believe. Going away early tomorrow morning and not back till about 8. Could maybe cobble together something but I'll probably be knackered. Hope somebody gives you a better offer :001: Sure Johndo will be along with the smileys. Defended very deep in the second half, St Mirren were very poor but if you give them that much possession they're bound to score sometime. Niculae and especially Denzil were passengers, would have got Baz on for Denzil much earlier. Imrie looks a real find too. As always, hats off for Rossco. What a gent. Won all his high balls all day and a fair few tackles in front of the North bank despite taking the usual dog's abuse. Let's not forget, it will be 10 years in August since his clumsy mistimed tackle and probably very few of the 'supporters' who howl abuse at him were actually there.
  10. Looked pretty impressive today I thought, at last somebody who's willing to run at a defence. Decent pace too, played wide on the left but gets about the park. Think Brew's got a real find there, must confess I'd never even heard of him.

Well I could give you a few years but I still take off the goggles to read
  12. Love your big font Charles.
  13. Hard to believe indeed. 8 years that was. It's only 7 1/2 years till I retire :017:
  14. Should be there with Naelifts. Last time it was the Alamo Bar behind the away end, Caledonia Road.
  15. Congrats big man (& Weez). Dinnae listen to Yngwie. All that is nowt compared to when they want money off you or the car keys.
  16. Good idea, I'm off home then................
  17. Why do some countries use the word 'little' when they mean 'wee'?
  18. Ooh you are awful.....
  19. Try 'parrot' Connie - gets past the censor :021:
  20. Thank your lucky stars you don't work in a school then TCF. Girls all over the world have turned into Valley girls.
  21. People saying 'to die for' or 'take it on board' must have limited imaginations....... I once knew an American guy who played football with us. I wasn't there to hear it, but one day the ball went away behind the goals and two players were arguing about whether it was a corner or a bye kick. Apparently the American guy said "while you sort it out, I'll go and shag the ball" meaning fetch the ball.
  22. Sadly Charles, if we had got a fourth goal that day, we would'nt be having this discussion now :023:
  23. You don't see it in 3D then? Typical woman apparently :023:
  24. They had roundabouts in your day? The only ones I can remember were in the park or at the shows. I think you should just stick with Bob Wynd for the street name. Kind of neat, just like the Bill the building attendant (posh name for jannie) when I was at uni. We just called him Bill Ding. Just being pedantic, I suspect it's spelled Caulfeild. Maybe the registrar made a slip or something.
  25. Am I the only one to think the 'tongue in cheek' smiley just looks like somebody with an enormous hooter?
