  1. Well they held up anyway, and it turned sunny once I reached the FRB and glorious Midlothianshire :015: :015: :015: Visit to the scrappy tomorrow is in order. (what RiG's on about is, my wipers got vandalised last night in Keith and I had to spend all morning hanging around on a wet Sunday in Keith and just made it down to Inverurie for the start) Yes there's one or two pics I'm very chuffed about including Patti's goal. Where's yer Peter Paul anyhoo?
  2. Don, believe me, emailing you the pics is a whole lot easier than setting up a web gallery and uploading them to my own space (plus I don't have a lot of space anyway). Are you up for that, or is it easier if I get Photoshop to do the web gallery and then you or I upload them to this site? Let me know. Both days I got a lot of pics that could be used for squad lists etc, plus one or two of the goals etc. Also feel free to rip the St Mirren pics which are HERE as I want to get rid of them shortly.
  3. He's lost a bit of weight since I saw him last.
  4. I was talking to one of the linesmen and a Keith committe man in the pub last night. Charlie had a go at the ref at half time, asking about the first penalty claim that wasn't given. The linesman thought it was a stonewaller but the ref either didn't see it or was trying to give Keith a chance. I thought Keith were very well organised and it was a combination of giving away free kicks and pens plus tiredness that saw them off. Today Locos seemed to last the pace better but probably it was class that told in the end. I got some photies too but won't be putting them up tonight.
  5. I got some pics too but I'm just home a couple of hours and can't be ersed tonight. Also got some from Keith yesterday.
  6. 'Duffers' - a blast from the past there :015:
  7. I know plenty Tims who don't rate Miller- with the quality they have in their (massive) squad it's not as if he has to even be a decent finisher, just the ability to put away one or two of the many chances that are laid on. It's pretty obvious to me that Kenny Miller's career has already peaked- either when Rangers signed him, or Wolves. If he was any good he would still be playing in the Prem. I can actually remember when Hibs farmed him out to Stenny. His two goals, both earned by his pace, were the only difference between Stenny and non-League Whitehill Welfare in a cup replay. Having said that, I'd sign him in a flash.
  8. Apart from Barry's wallet being somewhat heavier, you could argue that his game has not progressed any more than if he had stayed here. When he left, we looked unlikely candidates for the SPL so moving away looked a good idea. However as Sophia says, he still has moments of madness. Maybe Pele would have got even more out of him than McCall or Levein or Brew.
  9. When I heard that joke about 30 years ago there was a cigar as well as a beard!

  16. Brilliant how they can do that. Mind you I put in my own number and it sure doesn't look like me :015:
  17. You're right Mrs PB, it's a bummer. Happens to me too.

  20. I really meant this comment but Tug got in first.
  21. Let's not get too carried away eh?
  22. That was an embarrassment even without the mistakes by McNeill. We did look better when we came at them with pace in the passing rather than humping it long (where have we heard that before during last season :023: ). I suppose it was on the cards that when a nation the size of Japan got interested in fitba they were going to blow us away like most of the other bigger nations. I think if the ref had been European rather than Mexican he'd have done a bit more about the Japanese cheating and diving, there were times out there when it was like watching the Jambos :015: :015: He also seemed to have no idea about handball.
