I heard the same about QoS I think, which is why I brought it up. The Taylor report doesn't apply to Scotland though. It was just the SPL getting above their station with the 10000 seat nonsense. Then with our help it was reduced to 6000. But it's just that I thought I heard (see QoS above) that terracing was now allowed to be used in the Prem. Even if that's incorrect, if we got promoted we could just use the seats which still gives us about 7000 which is more than enough these days even if the ugly sisters visit.

I know every pound is a prisoner but for all the talk of a 4th stand, I'd rather see a covered terracing there. That's where most of us used to stand in the good old Pele days. That would do wonders for the atmosphere. And somebody will correct me but aren't you allowed to use terracing in the Premiership nowadays?

Brian Reid appears not to be very bright and has given a tabloid the kind of gift they usually only dream about. Once the pyramid gets underway, there are a few clubs like Albion Rovers who will end up playing in the LL or HL if they cannot sustain playing nationally. In fact Rovers are lucky still to be in the SPFL at all, as they owe it to Berwick’s collapse at the end of last season, beginning when Rovers miraculously gained 6 points In a single day when they had only collected about 8 in the whole season. Cove would certainly have thumped them in the playoff.

I only collect Scottish Cup and those 3 seasons are a bit sparse in the Mantis collection ... 😉... if you're willing to fish them out and give the rest to somebody else. ... or I'll just take the lot if it makes your life easier.

Good news about Robbo. I’d be worried if he was getting the dreaded 4 year contract like some in the past 😉 Mixed feelings about Curry. His goal at Cappielow was sensational but 3 days later his game awareness at QoS was shocking. Whether that’s something you can teach...

These are full time clubs though. The last time Carlisle played at home on a Saturday their attendance was 4600 and their best gate for the season was 6000.

The teams in the bottom six are much of a muchness. I think Dundee United will show them up and I’m not forgetting they were well ahead of us.
