  1. Shouldn't be difficult:
  2. I'll leave this one untitled although it's an easy guess:
  3. Ignore him. Would you take the word of somebody who drinks Fosters? Just an Aberdonian getting his retaliation in first. The man who haggles with teenage programme sellers.
  4. He's looking a bit the worse for wear Link
  5. You mean he's near the church?
  6. Have to say, you’re wearing better than oor Yngwie ?
  7. *mes amis. (unless you're only addressing Yngwie, in which case it's mon ami, mon cher, mon étalon, etc )
  8. Leicester could be a good shout, especially if James Maddison moves on, and he's well known to Brendan Rodgers. I would agree he's more likely to take the Andy Robertson route than the Keiran Tierney. I don't agree with the McGinn comparison though. The Championship was a step up for him both in wages and standard after 100 games at Hibs. Christie is already, arguably, Celtic's best player, and has already got lots of big game experience in Europe and cup finals, and he's probably on wages comparable to what Championship clubs can offer.
  9. Had another look at the wonder boy last night at Tynecastle. Unless he’s desperate to stay at Celtic I can see him playing in the Premierleague as early as next season. Out of possession he bursts a gut to get the ball back, mainly against Hickey last night. In possession his ball skills and vision are tremendous. First half hour Hearts had Celtic penned in and any out balls were up the left with Hayes and Forrest. Virtually Ryan’s first involvement and - bang, 1-0.
  10. I bow to your supreme knowledge. It was the summer mind you, maybe that's how they did the refits. The Lewis one is always in October. I remember the Sunniva and the Clair doing alternate sailings back in the day. Can't remember if they both did the same route, turn about, or if only the Sunniva deviated into Stromness. Been to Shetland quite a lot as the Missus' sister married there. So I've cut peats in Lewis and Shetland, two different techniques, not many can say that ? Here's the Northlink boat in Stromness last year, and the Pentalina at St Mag's.
  11. I've yet to see a church fly away rite enaff.
  12. I’m not religious at all but seem to have an awful lot of photos of churches. Especially ones in Iceland and the Faroe Islands. The one at Kincraig is where I park when I’m trying to photograph Ospreys.
  13. Two from 1999. The St Sunniva may be at St Margaret's Hope, the other one is definitely St Margaret's Hope, but not sure which boat, maybe the Iona.
  14. Yet another Kirk ?
  15. Yip, definitely out of Sneck.
  16. Ah right, I've definitely got a slide from 1999 which shows a boat in Calmac colours in St Margaret's Hope.
  17. Still on Orkney. MV Graemsay coming into Hoy. And MV Eynhallow from Rousay to Mainland at Tingwall.
  18. Where's this big hoose?
  19. But The Mantis is a proven goalscorer at this level, with a wealth of experience and a winner’s medal. You have to question the commitment of flashy players like Naelifts - they come out of the woodwork on the big occasion, but they’re posted missing when the going gets tough. With one solitary appearance all season he must lack the sharpness to take on better sides than the Droners. Can he do it on a wet Tuesday night in Dumfries or will he once more be on the treatment table, or twanging his instrument?
  20. There was a guy on our trip, and to be fair he was towing a caravan rather than driving a motorhome, but he just got one of the crew to do it, and slipped him something which looked like a fiver. Mind you I've never heard so many alarms going off on a ferry before. I take it you can disable them on most cars nowadays, it's certainly easy on mine (Skoda Octavia). As for reversing on, we had a woman with just a wee Astra when we went over to Rousay and she was absolutely hopeless.
  21. Never knew that. We were over in the summer of 2018 on the Pentalina for a week. Last time was in 1999 from Scrabster on the St Ola
  22. The team he scored against yesterday are not much better than Fort William.
  23. The Cromarty-Nigg boat. Unless I'm mistaken that's one of Uncle Roy's garden sheds in the background.
