Weather
How is the weather up there? There is some of the worst winds and rain I have seen on Glasgow for a long time and am concerned about the game tomorrow. Is there any news if there is a pitch inspection as the forecast for Inverness looked pretty bad today.

Rangers fans new song
He did it at the friendly but also at a new year old firm derby in 98 I believe. My wife had the "pleasure" of meeting him many years ago. She worked in a nursery at West Of Scotland cricket club during the period when Rangers used that for training. He was trying to get in the gate but the crowd of Rangers fans were getting in her way looking for autographs. She forced thougha and bumped into him. He asked if she would like his autograph and she replied "why would I want that?" his response of "do you know who I am" was met with "no, should I" and she walked off. :015:

Rangers fans new song
Did he help you get 10 in a row? Oh thats right he didn't. Plenty tic fans singing last night that Gazza is a nutter, na na na na. Thats football I guess. His antics when he was here were shocking. It takes a madman to play the flute in front of the Celtic fans.

It is not often you will have Celtic fans agree that a free kick for them was never a free kick but last night I was in shock! They agreed we should have never gone behind when we did as it was never a free kick. The linesman on our side made a few strange decisions last night.

Celtic -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
I would have taken a 2-1 defeat at the start. Shame to lose a goal when we did but to be honest we were not at the races in the first half with only one real chance. Any time we got the ball we gave it right back to Celtic. Second half wasnt much better until the goal and the subs. Last 15 mins or so there was only one team in it and the local were VERY restless. We didnt really test Boruc. As for the move that led to Duncans "chance" it was great football but the finish was shocking. It was 15 yards out but you must hit the target as they say. Duncan was probably our poorest player all night. Special mention for Ross. New contract and the traitor so called irishman only really beat him once, sadly it led to the second goal. Also McGuire was good this evening. As for McBain when he came on, excellent! Have him start on Saturday ahead of Duncan me thinks.

It was very funny! Quality picture. Anyone still got it?

Michael Barnes
Some Man U fans thought he could be the next Ryan Giggs! A return post however: Barnes is more from the Steve Coppell, Lee Sharpe school of wingers. Not overtly skillful, but quick, can beat a man with speed and a simple move and cross well.

Michael Barnes [Man Utd - Chesterfield] Loan 3rd January Cant have done much there then.

Baz Leaving ICT
My concern is over Barry as much as how bare our squad is looking now. Morris is a decent signing for a few months at this time of season.

Stand up for the Champions
At least this time they are going up on merit.

WHO'S GOING TO CELTIC GAME ?
Good map Alex. As it shows it is on the corner of London and Sprinfield Road just up from the away end. Dont be put off by how it looks i.e closed. It is not the nicest of looking pubs but the craic is normally ok as it tends to have a lot of the northern celtic fans.

Hearts Game
It is good news as he has been a stand out player. He as on loan to hearts so Kaunus get the money.

Humped by diddy clubs with the worst goal differene in British football? CC lasted the first 3 games of the season I believe. 3-0 defeat to current leaders Rangers, 2-1 defeat at St Mirren and Motherwell. it is a bonus to get anything from the old firm and the other 2 are games we should be aiming to get things from. Indeed we should have won at Motherwell. That is not being humped and a goal difference of -5 was nowhere near the worst in British football. Our biggest defeat of the season? 5-0 via celtic with Brewster at the helm. We could have been 3rd right now if he stopped mucking up the team and playing players out of position, if we had taken points from games in the last few, who knows.

If anyone else fancies a trip we are getting the 0706 train from Glasgow Queen St. This way we dont have to change at Perth and join the Edinburgh train which is likely to be very busy. I believe it stops at Stirling around 0730 and Perth at 0800. Look for the carriage with the flags etc!

Brewster's team selections
Is that the same CC that went the last 5 games of a season without losing a game or conceding a goal? Is that the same CC that if it wasnt for a last minute Aberdeen goal would have taken ICT to 2nd in the league? Is that the same CC that took 7 points from 9 against Rangers last year? So losing 3 games on the bounce this season meant he had to go as the team was poor. If that is the case when is Mr Brewster going to do the same thing and resign? He is on 10 defeats so far with just over a qaurter of the season to go. I will go for 5 or 6 more defeats this season. At want point does CC become a nightmare?

Who's happy?
I think we could be a bit more ambitous. Look at Falkirk for example. I am delighted to stay in teh SPL but we should be making progress to finish higher each season we are there. We should also be winning away games at the likes of St Mirren ( I know celtic struggled) and Kilmarnock on a regular basis or we are never going to take the " next step". I will continue to give 100% but just want to see more ambition. Here is to Wednesday.
