I agree Kingsmills. £200,000 is a lot for us, but it is a bit of an insult to Blackie when they got £2m for a similar player.

Proc was unlucky with injury when he was with us, so he never got a run in the 1st team. Every time it looked possible, something happened. With a bit more luck on the injury front, I think he can do a job for us as cover for Rossco if nothing else.

According to the P & J, we are interested in bringing Proc back, if he's available on a free transfer. Apparently we haven't received all the money we are due in respect of his transfer in the first place. No real surprise there then. I think he has real potential and he is excellent back up for Rossco, but he is happy playing left or right back or in midfield. A good squad player with the potential to be a first team regular in the future. He's still young and has plenty time to prove himself. Hope that this Utd carry on hasn't dented his confidence too much. He only went with the promise of 1st team football

I also heard at the weekend that Blackie is on his way. I do think the sums of money being talked about are good for us, but a bit of an insult coming from a team who are looking for silly money for their players. Think I would hold out for a bit more, especially if Hibs let their two go.

Looks like Denzil is out until the end of the season as he requires surgery. :009: :009: Just when he was regaining some of his best form. I do think we have enough cover and as has already been said we have an influx of midfielders, some of who can play up front. Unfortunate timing though that two of our best players are out with the same injury at the same time. Bad luck or what.
