RUGBY - U20 - SCOTLAND V FRANCE
Is Tommy ok with this? I might just drag myself along to this - haven't been to a rugby match for years. Hopefully the Kingsmills Suite will be open to non-members. What the hell has it got to do with Tommy? He is the groundsman not the Chairman! I think he's trying to mention the state of the pitch which could get turned up a bit. The next round of the scottish cup is on Feb 6th I think so we could have a home game less than a day later.

Kids for a quid
Great initiative from Partick and good to see ICT trying something regarding kids prices.I think the whole thing should be extended to all kids under 16 should get in free to all SFL games when accompanied by an adult unless the club thinks a certain game will be a sell out. This would encourage folk along to watch more local games and, as you say, the club will probably recoup a fair bit of any lost revenue through food and drink sales.Football spectating is habitual and needs kickstarting to get a new generation into the habit that many older hands have got out of,if it's to survive and prosper in the long term. Great post Heilandee. I agree with you 100% I think trying to create habitual attendance among young fans would be a positive step. I'm not sure if the kids at Partick even have to be accompanied by an adult. Think if they are teenagers then they dont have to be accompanied by an adult

Kids for a quid
We did this against Gretna a couple of seasons ago, think it had a good efect on the crowd and it was above 4,000. That that was under 16's that time though. Just noticed Partick are doing something similar for there game against Dundee today where Under 16's go free! Not bad at all. We should try that one game and see what impact it has on the crowd.

World Cup draw
There is always a nervousness about the world cup until england invevitably go out on pens and then I can sit back and actually enjoy it. England, USA, Ivory Coast and France/Portugal please to get them out in the group stages

Pub beside the ground.
As Scotty has pointed out a bar that is open 18 times a year wont pay for itself. would a temporary beer tent be covered by the same alcohol license that is issued for the kingsmills suite as licenses arent cheap. Some cafes etc have now stopped selling alcohol, one owner told me that his license has jumped up to ?1,400 for a small coffee shop, so now he doesnt have one. kind of a backward step if you as me as its the government who make all the profit on the sale of booze. I remember being at Falkirk when they still played at Brockville and they had a tent set up where you could go to drink before games

When Hayes gets fitter
Na think he'd rather stay and play SPL football next season rather than spend a few more years in the 1st division!

ST ANDREWS - Quiz Night
Think there is 2 of us coming. Any one else want to form a team from here? Just so we aren't turning up with 2 players then asking if 'we can get a game'!

Merged: Terry Butcher - TV Caption
No becuase he was a pundit on Man Utd v Besitkas, not a Rangers game! And also STV never showed any Rangers games so he was never a pundit on a Rangers game.

Dundee -V- ICT : cup final thread
Oi!! Seen that me and Stirling Observer were on tv putting up our flag. How can you mistake me for IHE, he must have at least 30 years on me :P Wonder if Butcher likes the Diego's flag, dont think Maradona is on his christmas card list!

Alba cup final tickets
We got 3,400 i think. So just over half full Also what the hell does this mean from the highland news! 'With 2000 tickets sold, the Inverness club are calling on the rest of the city and surrounding area to score two goals by coming to back Terry Butcher's boys in what could be a cracking final.'

Alba cup final tickets
We had a good bit more than Airdrie, we had 2 stands to their 1 and their stand was no where near full.
-
Alba cup final tickets
We must have had at least 3,500 the last time and our crowds are a good bit larger than they were last time we were in the 1st division so I would have thought 3,400 tickets would have sold out easy  Any idea how many we have sold so far?

County away
More than 750? Can you pay at the gate then? Victoria park is listed as being 5,800 capacity with 2,800 seats. (even though im sure there was a 6,000+ there last time we played). If that is right you would imagine the away terrace would hold maybe 1,300 ish? It cant be to hard for the two clubs to speak to each other and say how many tickets ICT are getting. I know of people who are planning on paying at the gate but not a word from the club on tickets at all. Seems that ICT dont actually know how many tickets we have and how many will be avalibale on sat. They could at least find this out and let our support know! I know people could have bought them during the week but there has been no communication saying that it was all ticket or even if you needed a ticket etc.

County away
Not to sure what the away end holds but it used to be full most times when we were in 1st division before. I would have thought that it would have been all ticket for away fans but there has been no communication from ICT regarding tickets or how to go about getting them. Checked the official website and not a thing about it there.
