  1. I am afraid that there was little to look forward to. Changing the manager may give a lot a lift but he is making that difficult by making his chosen few the starters at the moment. Esson is a bonus - but gawd to we need a pacy and/or experienced central defender. Cowie may be the surprise package if Brew goes as I would love to see him been given a consistent role and how he performs without Brew on his back. If Black stays he may also keep us up. We also need a couple of strikers - preferably on loan. This season is now all about survival - the longer Brew stays the harder it is going to be to achieve. The players he has jettisoned is coming back to haunt him. I would seriously think about reinstating Bazza and Bayne. Then we can start looking at building a team around Duff, Vigurs, Zander etc. Is it Brew or the SFL - ABSOLUTELY. Why have Bayne back - he has only scored 3 goals in SFL whereas his team mates Phinn and Kirk have scored 5 and 9 respectively. We need a proven goalscorer at the highest level. I would certainly reinstate Bazza but sorry no to Bayne. Maybe we could do with someone in the twilight of their career to help the likes of Wood and Rooney.
  2. ....why not give the U19's a run out!!
  3. It was the Police - they were filming the North Stand for a while - I don't know if they had filmed the Main/south stands.
  4. Did anyone else see them at the game today filming crowd. What was that all about? Maybe they should have being filming Brewster because he's criminal!
  5. ...............has anyone ever thought Grassa might be picking the team
  6. .....surely the BOARD and the DOF have to accept some responsibility. If Brewster is to go then we should see a complete overhaul at managerial and board level. We need a managerial team and a board that is willing to take our club to another level. I am not unrealistic, we are never going to see Champions League football (well who knows) but surely we should now be setting our sights higher than 11th place. Alan Savage I feel was a step in the right direction. At least he was willing to invest in the club with a view to taking us to the next level. Although board members and major shareholders will have everyone believe that Mr Savage would have ran the club into the ground financially ...... I don't think so. Now more than ever is a time for change.
  7. ......what happens when we also lose Ian Black in January and possibly Don Cowie. I am of the opinion that Barry still has a lot to offer the club as a player and possibly a coach - BREWSTER YOU KNOW WHERE THE DOOR IS NOW SEE YOURSELF OUT & TAKE THE REST OF THE HEATHMOUNT MAFIA WITH YOU.
  8. Personally i am not in the pro Brewster camp far from it but I do agree that he should be given a chance as he is a relatively new manager. As with all walks of life..... we live we learn. I personally would like to see a complete overhaul at board and managerial level - a complete new set of vision and values. Prudence(which we have in abundance) with a large dose of ambition is what is required. However we can only utilise the tools that we have at the moment so we just have to get on with it.
  9. I certainly hope that is true as the Heathmount Mafia should one day held accountable for their blatant ineptitude and if it means voting with our feet (bums) SO BE IT!

apart from the Fraser Celtic save and the Cowie winner the highlight of the season must be the pitch. Apart from a small bare area in the goalmouth the pitch is impeccable - I applaud the ground staff.
  11. [quote He also said that breaking the club's pay structure with the signing of Marius was perhaps not the board's best ever decision and was something that would have to be re-assessed.
  12. not really. The cynical part of me says this has been done to appease the baying masses. My sentiments exactly - upset the fans by alienating fans favourites Wyness & Wilson, attempt to appease by bringing back another; Juanjo. If it works out hey excellent but at the moment Brewster's management style smacks of ineptitude.
  13. I digress isnt Richard Fairbrass not that gay guy out of right said fred - is he a friend of Juanjo!?
  14. "one or two underlying issues I need to address and manage.." Yes he needs to address his apparent lack of ability to manage!
  15. GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL GRANTY

The vast majority of the ICT Support welcome Brewster and appreciate what he is doing for the club. Purely an assertion - do you have any emprical data to back this up?
  18. Actions show ambition not rhetoric.
  19. The next book " The law of diminishing returns" The ICT Edition Season 07/08 I am a failure, C Brewster.
  20. What is the brain capacity of single cell amoeba.
  21. Are you Grassa in disguise? Eternal brown nose. Brewster get tae tannadink
  22. Because Warnock has said at least twice in as many days that he hasnt been contacted. Well actually both Warnock and the club acknowledged he was interested and the chairman said at the meeting (according to some who were there that he had applied and would be considered I am questioning the appointment of a manager who I do not think was the best candidate of those that applied, I am questioning the lack of honesty I feel we have been presented with by the board but under no circumstances am I questioning the team or the players who as someone else has said in another thread have worked **** hard for the club over the years. As for "thick and thin" just look up my name in Ian Broadfoots book. I have done my part, or at least tried to and I will continue to do so when and where I can but that does not include bending over while the club try to ram a bad decision somewhere the sun dont shine and ask me to be happy about it. Other than supporters of Caley and Thistle who chose not to become supporters of the new club, I do not recall any other boycotts. please refresh my memory ? I dont support the idea of boycotting the team but that does not stop me from speaking my mind about the way this whole debacle appears to have been handle I concur full stop.
  23. i agree, i feel he would better serve the team just in behind the front two. Therefore he undoubtedly should stay!
