  1. Yes, So long as we keep on plonking them in and win, then the opposition can score too if they want. CMIB.
  2. Hasta La Vista, amigo.
  3. Caley D said it straight. The club cannot afford it. Would it shock you to learn that the club spent 100,000 pounds on hospital operations for players over the last year? This club looks after their players very well indeed and I have no doubt that they use the top surgeons in the land.Mr Hogg went to London for his serious procedure did he not? And that figure is an indisputable fact from highest authority. It's the equivalent of maintenance for you car and an expense that can't be avoided . Do the mathematics. How many fans would need to come through the turnstyles to cover a total annual bill like that over a fiscal year? Truly it is a very vexing situation for the club to be in. If the fans won't support the club in greater numbers then there must be the possibility of lowering standards. And operations ,possibly, in a lower division. And since the club has finally managed to put a very good team on the park, what more can anyone expect from them when the money isn't there to buy high -priced players who may not fit in anyway. I do wonder what the club's loss will be at the end of the current fiscal year? If a fan can't afford to go to every home match then why not every other match-i. eonce per month , but it has to be a commitment.y not go every two weeks-that cuts their annual bill in half and surely makes it afforodable
  4. Eh? Davie ...ewe going, mate? I can't, so baaa---humbug. Oh well, we are all hoping that the ICT boys will....ram...them in now.
  5. The Rangers game could be a cracker as someone said. The way Caley are cutting through the defences just now, all it needs is an early classic goal and Rangers will be on the back foot rigt off the bat.
  6. Andrew was well off target with three chances that i saw--all over the bar by a mile. Hopefully, if he works on this in training and keeps the ball down, he will also figure in the goals much more. Antonio is showing his stuff. He seems to have very quick reactions. I was impressed with that instant jump out of goal and that very well timed smothering of the ball just under the body of the forward which was really quite a courageous dive as well. He deserves his place if he stays in the team.
  7. ITFC. Ipswich town FC. ICTFC Inverness Caley thistle F C. Fatalistic IHE? Can you access yer oracle for a reading on this unexpected situation. Methinks it would be bad for both clubs....?
  8. IHE Depends on whether yer dream is dry or wet. If the latter then it's match set. But if it's socca, depends entirely on whether it's in the net. And you will remain my entertaining and highly amusing pet But one I would wish to, but never ever met. But for bringing a smile to Scarlet's finely-chiselled lips, why, I'm in your debt.
  9. Reguero --gut feel really. If he has a future with ICT he has to be able to perform at the likes of Ibrox. And Esson might not be as tuned -up as we think .Either one --best of luck. A win here will chuff everybody to bits, especially the keeper who is selected on the night. I have the feeling that Reguero is enjoying his stay at Invernesss with Caley Thistle and could have great run for the team --even for years if he does well. Breath of fresh Spanish air to boot.. Isn't that right Charles?
  10. Ach , dinna fash yersel, King Beastie. After 6 or 7 years on here, Sacrbaby has a hide like a rhino and sometimes, when he looks in the miirror after a sleepless night, he looks a bit like the end of one--front, not back... ahem!
  11. Give you a tip Renegade from a mad Pimple--just crinkle up your eyes to the point where the picture is nearly not to be seen and on a good picture you can see through the screen. Spys like us do it all the time.
  12. OCH! OOPs I didn't say that did I ? See County , you have to be very careful what you say on here. There are some lurkers around always ready to pounce. Sigh.
  13. Shoot! sussed out again. You guys should remember what an employee once said to me after I fired him for not doing what I telt him to do. He says, huffily..."You get more with honey than with with vinegar...." ...ah was younger then and didn't suffer fools gladly in them thar days. Now I am more laid back and more crafty..... So be nice to the older fella --he's got his beady eye on you and I repeat, Scotty is a master of the design and deserves all the praise he can get. I still like you, County, and you are a breath of fresh air, but go carefully into the night, dear boy, or old Scarlet might conjure up one of these witches in the book and she'll give you a right scare when you least expect it. Aye, rite enuff. Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble. Meantime, bring some more of your pals on here, mun--go on, we like yer footie although there are, apparently, no hard tackles. That Swallow lad took my fancy-- is he in it for the club or just to feather his own nest, like ...eh?
  14. Brilliant, and I am not referring to the similar word with " tine" on the end of it. Oh alright , I am , please laugh.
  15. Happy birthday . DJS. It's all downhill from thismpoint...
  16. Well....shimmy Jimmy, surely?
  17. To Terry Make sure the defense gets stronger and stronger and then remember what Stevenson ,the Scots engineer who designed the steam engine, once said over his drafting table (is that draughting? This North American spelling has now taken me over completely ) " there is no limit to the speed we can achieve if the engine can be made to stand it." Now, there's a though.......Strong defense and then 5 forwards going all out to get the largest number of goals ever scored by the end of the season in the SPL. Can happen, guys, can happen; the way things are going. Faaaaaan-tastic.
  18. Holy Smokes ..what have i done? They ARE all coming out of the woodwork. Your suggestions, lads, are rather brilliant. I particularly like the black paint one --will go well with my dark and lugubrioous personality. But I think I will stick wid the red--much better for attracting the money, like. And, nowadays, what with gas prices going through the roof, food doubling in price and a nite out on the toon being completely out of the question these days one haso focus, man, focus. O .K. enough of this chitter,chatter..... the wife has just told me I am going out to the THAI restaurant for a quick meal--I dont need tae be telt twice on that one, I can tell you. The food is unbelievable there; even if it's completely free of hormones and growth chemicals. Straight rice and veggies...mmmmmmmm....cooked to perfection and reasonably priced too. Now that's a new one , nowadays. Cheers fellas. I'm off to titivate the new coif. MMMM that red strip on me bonce makes me look like a successful Mohawk warrior....... Scarlet
  19. Welcome County You are now visiting the best set-up and designed site on the net. Highly recommended ,Very professonal, mun www.InTorNetdesign.com Oh and the footie's good here too. Keep tuning in, you represent a change from the old Fuddy-Duddy's on here from time to time. That is, when they can get the energy to get up from the pipe and slippers by the fire routine. When these guys get to 70 they seem to fade away. Puir wee things. And if you want a little bit of romance, action, adventure, magic, wiizards, witches, princes and princesses..... and more.....try this fantasy novel for size too ... www.destiniesinmotion.com Looking forward to your coming back--a breath of fresh air, so you are. Cheers, Scarlet
  20. Braveheart..it's surely 1-3? Yes.
  21. McSimon McGarfunkel enter from side right and play ..."Bridge overTroubled Waters." Och, sorry, guys, Now I remember, that should be yon blues number by Muddy Waters..
  22. I know... I just had to draw them out of the woodwork. Misery loves company, like.
  23. Surely that's 1-2 guys not 2-1.? We only have your notifications to read to get the score and my heart is maybe not as strong as it was since the air here overseas is thinner than in Scotland... Thank you .
  24. N--it's a vigorous Canajin band, mun..---I think.
