  1. Soyou are saying that if you spell his name backwards that is when he has impressed you?
  2. Jeez, Scotty, I have just been blinded by the colorful stuff at the bottom of the thread. What a nice job you do --- now I am off to click on both these links to see what the Mrs has been doing behind me back,,egad and forsooth, wonders never cease. It's all tricky dicky stuff in our family. No wonder sometimes older Scarlet disnae ken whit the richt haun is doing to the left leg. Never a dull moment .
  3. Maybe the answer is for the affronted Manager to praise the ref to the skies. To thepoint where , grudgingly, the public say to themselves "methinks he praises too much" Thus we all get his message but no one in authority can hurt him... but by then his irony has done its job.....
  4. Opportunism at its best. Have to admire the business acumen behind this enterprising initiative..........................?
  5. Well I mentioned a few weeks ago that I thought the Stenny mtach would be a challenge for ICT. Spirited side eh? Smile But we are through. Whee!
  6. Well, not if today's match had a lot of fans attending and it seemed a bit crowdy. And an irate fan threw some of it at the ref whose name was Yogi and the ref's wife complained to Management about her yog-hurt.
  7. Scotty Maybe you are right about Vine scoring the winner for St Johnstone. The report I saw was written by a character who didn't speak very good English and you have access to the British Grape-Vine which I don't ..send me the link if one is available..eh? There you go...... Sorted.
  8. St Johnstone beat Celtic 2-1 at home. Scorer of the winner--wait for it--Gregory Tade!
  9. And what, pray, is DBT IHE? Or dare I ask? It can't be a De-Briefing Tickle is it............. as in,,,,"Stop, stop, I'll reveal all" ? A favorite of the Nazis debriefing the French Resistance fighters, I understand.
  10. And he still wouldn't stop so she cried out. ."Lego, lego, I need to go to the p- -erfect place. The relief of Mafeking beckonith."
  11. Anyway, let's hope there are no injuries tomorrow--like the goalie crashes into the post and gets a tender-loin. Or deffo not a charley-HORSE.
  12. So long as it's a cash cow...eh?
  13. Well, this thread has been a shot in the arm up to now; maybe it's even a pro-biotic. I have to admit that my stomach is CHURNING with laughter. Obviously there are some very clever people on here.
  14. I H E ---Inhibited Highland Enigmatic Introverted Hopelessly ( in Love?) Ebullient ? Insane Harmless Erudite. Incahol-fond Hell-raiser effervescent Whatever your choice you can't ignore him.
  15. I know, nobody else got it. I love my boy --he's so devious and slippery. And so are you, you olde,r younger git. Daddy Pimperne l
  16. Yep! Festus. Watch oot fer Captain IHE on board the HMS Sneck. He will train his guns on you any time you sneeze. Light the fire and brew up the coffee Festus. I'm weary after that long ride from Dodge and I'm laying down my head. And don't ferget to give some grits to the hoss--he looks a bit peaky. Probably ran into IHE on the road when I was off in the Mesa having a .....look around for them thar pesky injuns.
  17. Nah, nah. youse don't get it, IHE. I knew that--I meant why has he not been posting on here.' Geez! Can't take you anywhere.
  18. Scarlet has asked me to advise you that he is in a huff over the nasty comments addressed his way and says he can't even age gracefully now on this thread without brutal negativity cramping his style. And he refuses to break his promise to come back to this thread because to do so would undermine his credibility and only dignify Go easy on the boy, he has had a hard day. His wife fell off her bike on a rainy patch of road and broke her false and very expensive fingernails. His daughter has just told him on the 'phone that she has lost her high-paying job as a cocktail waitress in the snobby hotel situated close to the Alberta tar sands, needsa large loan to tide her over and is about to become an unwed mother. And his dog has just had twins and they were all kittens. So he has asked me to convey his distaste for the vicious attacks upon his aging brain and wants all you younger ones to know that your day is coming and you had better watch your step because once the Scarlet one departs this life he will come back to haunt youse. And he knows who you are too..... You all, have a nice day. Long time no see but...geez, it feels good to be back. Daddy Pimpernell
  19. I said I would not see this thread again. But I can still see the typewriter keys under the dark glasses though and my perceptions are that this record is well and truly broken. What a bunch of poor hapless supporters some of you are. The first time something doesn't go exactly right for you, you lose it completely. Did it ever occur to you that now is the time to come together and support both the team and the club 100%--it's so easy to be a so-called supporter when the team is on the crest of the wave. But do you get up in the morning repeating your daily mantra--"I must remember to kick the dog when he is down today." Shame on you. That's it--I'm off this thread permanently now. Would I not just love to see ICT thoroughly beat Aberdeen today and put all yer gases at a peep.
  20. You're kidding Jock. I was thinking about you the other day, Jock. Where have you been..long time no hear from you Matey?
  21. Not once have I referred to the transfer iof Munro etc. Why bother--it's in the past and cannot be altered in any way, shape or form? All I am saying is stop gurning and whining and try just giving the Manager some needed support just for once. It's so stale that one has to wonder if someone somewhere is worried about losing some money over a bet or whatever? This is the last time I am going to look at this thread because it is so depressing and negative in parts.
  22. What a sour lot some of you are. This thread has not turned out too well with all the griping and counter griping. Just give the man a fair chance and can we leave it at that...please.
  23. Didn't Alex Ferguson rule with an iron fist also? He even went so far as to kick a boot at so-called top players on occasion. Didn't seem to stop his run of successes, did it? Since when was a fair bit of discipline and control a bad thing for the younger players--and maybe for a few of the older ones too. Terry is probably from the old school when there was a fair bit of respect for those older than thou. It just came with the territory. Nowadays many of the younger element think they are the equal of their elders despite having the life experience of a gnat. I repeat, let's give the Manager a fair break, and time to consolidate his team and his plans before jumping down his throat .
