The team has really fallen off these latter latter days. I have seen more back-passing and more "get the ball and hesitate for a minute before passing back-" than at any time in the last few years in a Whitecaps team that seems to have lost the spirit and the way forward at speed. And Kenny Miller seems to be way past his due date--becoming anonymous, to be frank, despite his very large contract. Playing him up as a left side forward but starving him of service has proved to NOT to be a formula for success. Because , in general, he doesn't appear to be interested enough, or have the energy, to go looking for the ball. He just doesn't comprehend that for a contract that is over $1,000,000 he was taken in to be energetic, bustling, and to make a difference and he is none of the above. Oh dear!
