A Christmas pod is out for your listening pleasure packed with December themed goodness! Mark Ridgers and Robbie Deas drop by for a chat and we hear from Louis Lockhart, a regular at ICT home and away matches, on the Young Teams move to the West Stand, we look back over some of the recent matches, including the recent debacle against Hamilton, preview the festive fixture list and have a bit of a laugh trying to think of Christmas gifts for Championship managers and players as Christmas films. And if that isn't enough you can be in with a chance of winning a signed Robbie Deas shirt if you follow us on Twitter, retweet and like the tweet below! Disclaimer: This was recorded before the most recent announcements on restrictions on attending sporting events.

Surprised McMullan was able to header the ball considering he has no neck to generate any power.

Very true. Sadly, one of the many morons on Radio Scotland each Saturday, Allan "Biscuits" Preston, thinks nothing of trying to move on his players whilst on Sportsound and he's talked up MacGregor no end by all accounts. He's being watched by other teams and we've turned down bids for him recently as well. Enjoy him while you can.

Can't help but feel that Allardice was overlooked. He might not have scored at the weekend but he was absolutely sensational.

Ritchie generally has a couple of faux pas moments (last seasons cranium detachment about the free kick in the Morton box being a good example) but overall I'd say he's a pretty decent co commentator.

The last team we scored 5 goals against in the league was... ...Morton!

Not really that strange in fairness. He hadn't signed well in various transfer windows, wasn't playing great football, players well off form and often played out of position. People looking in at ICT thought us getting rid of Hughes looked odd of course. The same applies here to some supporters looking in on Hibs.

This is an excellent idea. I wonder if the could could bring out some kind of classic matches calendar featuring shots from famous games (Feb 8th 2000 and so on)? December would have to be a picture of Derek Adams greeting after that late Foran strike in the 2012 Scottish Cup tie though

Surprised at how content some posters seem to be about going out of the Scottish Cup to a meek Morton side. We've had two wins in all competitions since mid October and that includes matches against some really poor sides and you can add last nights poor performance to the list as well.

Very sad news. I mind getting to see his ridiculous whisky collection behind the bar not long before The Innes changed hands. He said that was his retirement fund Thoughts are with his friends and families.

Deserved win but for a long time until Welsh's superb hit I wasn't sure where we were going to get the goal from as I didn't feel we were creating many really good chances. I spent a stupid amount of time in the first half trying to figure out why no one was celebrating Shane's "goal" as I was sure it was nestled in the back of the net before I finally realised it had gone behind. Good chance for Mckay in the first half from a MacGregor flick and that was probably it really for us. Killie were very poor. Considering his recent run of form I was very surprised at how poor Shaw was and Chris Burke might finally be out of the pocket of Robbie Deas by now. Good effort from the YT in the West Stand. Shame that it sucks any noise away from the rest of the ground but maybe if they turn up in those numbers more often the long term future for them could be at the bottom of Section E of the North Stand and more people there might feel inclined to join in.

When the manager takes off three first team regulars within an hour that should tell you how little we cared about getting through. Friday is infinitely more important that this tournament.

Given our recent match attendances for league games have clearly been the work of fiction I don't think we are in a position to criticise any other side for doing the same.

There hasn't been a drum at a home game for some time. I know they are kept up the back of the North Stand but they are seldom used. The young lads have dwindled in number for some reason as well preferring to go to away games which, whether you like it or not, are better for creating an atmosphere than home matches. Recent matches at TCS have been like a morgue and it's getting worse if that is even possible. To be clear this is not a slant on the YT or the support in general. Home supports are almost always quiet and the number of fans attending games continues to dwindle whether it's malaise brough on by remaining in the second tier and / or COVID concerns. I'd like to think the club were in touch with the YT about this move, perhaps to find out why they don't really attend home matches in any great number any more, engaged with them to try and encourage more of them back to games in Inverness and so on. As mentioned above their "home" is the front of Section E and they have generated some great noise in the past but it's not really happening now and no one really helps them out. I feel we (as in ICT) could learn a lot from Motherwell and how they work with the Motherwell Bois. Their little corner of Fir Park is really good and something we should look to emulate. I'm not sure this move is the way to do it however.

No Gardyne, Welsh, Walsh or Duffy. Subs bench looks pretty thing. Line up appears to hint towards a return of the 4411 we had earlier this season.

We've got more than enough attack minded players. We desperately need actual left and right backs rather than having to play Deas and Carson there.

Injuries and COVID. More utter drivel again from ICT. Well done to the Pars who thoroughly deserved the three points yesterday. Apart from Doran's shot and the Mckay goal I can't recall us doing too much in the first half. Second, ooft. Just like Ayr last week the players just seemed to stop trying and let the other side back into the game. Questions need to be asked of the management as to why this is happening every week. I feel for Devine scoring the OG as he has been pretty solid for us this season. He didn't deserve that but it was bad defending all round. Deas seemed completely lost and we struggled to regain our shape at the back. Cracking strike from Thomas for the goal. I felt we had a decent claim for a penalty towards the end but had it been given and we scored (no guarantee) it would have been daylight robbery. Fair play to the ICT fans who applauded OFW at the start of the second half and then seemed on attempting to batter him for his timewasting As I said about the Arbroath game, maybe we don't get into the position where teams do that to us? Just a thought. Anyway, we got what we deserved - nothing.

Another utterly infuriating performance from ICT. Our apparent inability to kill off a game or at least seize it by the scruff of the neck is puzzling. The first half we were very good and looked like we could score any time we went forward. Second half we didn't just take our foot off the gas we pulled into a layby, drew the curtains and had a nap for about 30 minutes and completely let Ayr back into the game. Although the Ayr keeper made a number of saves most were pretty comfortable. The defending for every goal got worse as the game went on. The second Ayr equaliser was awful to watch. Walsh and Duffy trying and failing to decide who should be picking up which Ayr player and ended up allowing the Ayr left back to run almost unchallenged into position to get a shot away. You can see in the goal clips Walsh pointing behind him thinking Duffy will pick up the runner but Duffy had already been dragged into the middle of the pitch. Dodds bemoaned the players slacking off in the second half but I didn't see him emerge from the dugout to fire a rocket up their backsides to try and change things. The Duku sub and switch to 4411 didn't work. I think Jamieson should be our go to sub for changing things up front rather than Duku for the next game and unless he is injured I would like to see MacDonald get a chance from the bench as well. On paper we should paste Dunfermline next week but we won't unless there is a big improvement. They looked useful in the 1 - 1 draw at EEP only a few weeks ago and they might have a new manager in place by next weekend with players eager to impress him so it won't be an easy one. Hopefully by then Dodds has instilled the importance of keeping the effort levels up for 90 minutes as we cannot afford to slack off even a little in these games as 6 points from the last 18 isn't good enough for where we are looking to be.
