  1. Good read. Unlike the laughable dribble in the Courier from Mr Linton.

I kind of agree as well Chris. Defeats against Rangers aren't getting the fans upset. It is lifeless performances against the likes of Hamilton, St. Mirren, Falkirk etc. that are getting to the support. Against Rangers everyone should accept the likely outcome - a defeat. The pressure will be on for the Partick game however so I think we should forget about tomorrows game (I already have) and look to the next game we should be looking to win. Seems Mr. Linton has taken almost his entire article by reproducing information taken from this website. Is this not a form of plagiarism?
  3. Cowie, even if he does agree to sign for another club this January, would not try any less at ICT before moving to his new team. This was the case with County and he is a very professional player and I doubt he wouldn't do likewise with ICT.

There's an English game on in the afternoon which Setanta are covering IIRC so we are bumped down the pecking order.
  5. MacDonald was brought in while CC was manager.
  6. Favourite Barry memories people? Must say I loved it when he was moved up front for us and he fairly rattled in the goals for a period in his new position before he went off to Livi. Seemed to be scoring every week. His audacious goal against Motherwell in the Cup was a screamer and he fired in a beauty against Hibs in a 3 - 0 rowt in Inverness. He might have lost some pace but he was still a very creative outlet for us and one of my favourite ICT players. All the best Barry
  7. I don't think you could be any more arrogant or condescending if you tried with that post. The fact is that following ICT is getting more and more expensive and in the current climate expensive luxuries like following a football team around a country is no longer financially viable to a lot of people and so they might have to give it up. That is certainly the boat I am finding myself in.
  8. I like ICTodds team! I can play CM as he has me there in a role similar to Ian Black. Quite hot headed as well and like a fiesty challenge. Failing that I can also do a turn on the right side of the pitch either RM or RB but certainly CM would be my preferred role. :thumb04:
  9. Shame Bennet has other clubs interests at heart when they come to play ICT during the season.
  10. I've changed it. The last couple of weeks have tipped me over the "edge". I have never been a Brewster fan but did hope he could somehow turn it around but the evidence is there for all to see now. It's beyond a joke now.
  11. I'd still go if I was in Sneck but I won't be at that point. Aside from games at Pittodrie ever game is an Away one for me really and I choose the Home ones as I see more of my pals and it is closer than most of the actual away games. Sadly I simply cannot motivate myself to lose almost my entire Saturday (usually) to it anymore as well as the cost of the train fare. It'll be the (cheaper) Bobbin for me I think where you can get a slab of chocolate fudge cake that you could use as a roof on a house for under ?3. That will console me! * * I bet we win 4 - 0 now! :thumb04:
  12. Our marking at set pieces was f*****g awful against United recently and has been for a long time. I am not in the least bit surprised to hear we lost and also that we were pish at the back. Our once solid back line has fallen to pieces, midfield is devoid of creativity and we seem to have bugger all up front. Why the hell has nothing been done about this?
  13. I'm not coming through from Aberdeen for the game against Rangers. I'll support the team from the pub. I can't stomach the> 200 mile / 5 and a bit hour round trip on the train any more at the minute.
  14. Not often I am caught trying to be overly positive eh?

Calderwood is a fool. That article (and the similar others that were published) showed what a fanny he is.
  16. I do. I showed him where the bacon was in Tesco when I used to work there.
  17. Good luck to Blackie if he does go. Will be a sickener seeing him in a hearts top next season (but will we see this on TV or in the flesh?). Another lesson to ICT to get your contracts sorted out sooner rather than later. By all accounts he seemed happy to stay and it looks like we never moved until it was too late.
  18. A moral draw for ICT

    Finally! :thumb04:
  20. Let's face facts - Cowie will be away before next season. Hardly a bold statement I know but there is virtually zero chance of him being here for 2009/10. The only thing to confirm is where he goes.
  21. See the post above you mannie
  22. :o Actually I've just thought of it another way and realised what the hmmm could be about. I got there eventually!
  23. What is there to hmmm about? Unless I am missing something Black can play for ICT for the rest of the season as it's only a pre contract he has signed. Like Zluska (sp.?) at United and his move to Celtic.
  24. If it's any consolation we should have had two penalties after two blatant handballs by Aberdeen players.
