  1. Apologies my friend.
  2. Well for CB, it's because he doesn't pay to get in?.
  3. So only certain fans who meet your criteria are allowed to have and opinion and post?.

Indeed it is but to remove any blame from the board in this is not credible. I don't know the rights and wrongs of all that has happened but the board have handled this situation badly is an understatement.

Totally agree that this situation gas been badly handled by all concerned and this reflects badly on both parties. It also reflects badly on the club's image within the game. What Caleyboy describes is what would happen within most businesses and I have personal experience of dealing with a case similar to this in this manner. While the board have done well, in financial terms, to keep the club on an even keel, there seems to be little or no forward planning or even a vision for where the board want the club to go. I don't know Kenny Cameron but I don't think he is vocal enough in support of the club and a stronger chairman/board is needed to drive the club on. I have no thoughts on who that could be or how that can be achieved but still think we at times still display a Highland league mentality at Board level. This is purely my opinion but I think a weak board has not helped with this situation.

Totally agree with this. Neither Yogi or the Board come out of this well. I have said previously that I have reservations about the ability of the current board to take us further and I think this situation underlines this. To get to a situation where Chairman and manage no longer speaking, if P & J is to be believed, is ridiculous. If the board were seriously dismissing Hughes, then a plan should have been in place to ensure a replacement is lines up as soon as possible. What does this situation say to managers who may be interested as well in our club. This needs to get sorted quickly with a lot more communication from our normally reticent board.
  7. A great result which certainly couldn't have been predicted after 45 minutes...or even after 59! The first half was reminiscent of much of our season - lots of possession and barely any clearcut chances. Dundee played on the break and had five decent opportunities, all of which they spurned. Storey's goal came from a wonderful Polworth pass in behind, the first piece of quality we'd come up with in the final third. It was a great finish, showing composure even as the keeper forced him wide. It sounds from the postmatch interview like we're working hard to convince him to stay, which would be terrific. The decision immediately afterward to replace Storey with Foran was bizarre...but I suppose the outcome justified it! Foran's lovely front post flick laid on Devine to bundle home a second, and then immediately afterward Drapes mugged Nick Ross 20 yards from goal and killed the game off with a fine finish. The pen came after some great skill by Polly, who was our best player today. I think Draper suggested to Raven that he should take it, but Raven seemed to shake his head. I don't think Foran was giving the ball up in a hurry anyway! For those who weren't there, it's worth pointing out that Dundee looked so much more likely to score at 0-0. But it's a great result and a great way to finish the season. It may have a very positive effect on season ticket renewals too... Mostly agree with this but Dundee created very little and were only given the half chances to score by poor defending by us. At half time, this looked a 0-0 banker but we did seem to step up a gear in the second half. Dundee have had a lot of plaudits this season but were very poor today and when they were last hear as well. Maybe we are due some plaudits after all by the central belt dominated media.
  8. Logically the game should have been replayed but the deduction of 3 points seems fair enough, to me anyway, as this did not affect the final result in anyway if we are being realistic. The fine of £30000 is, again in my opinion, way over the top and, as someone has suggested appears to be sticking the knife into the chairman more than anything else. I think he was quite right to resign for what appears to have been a genuine mistake.
  9. My take on the game was that we pretty much dominated it but yet again, poor defending cost us the game. For the first, Murray was not closed down, second and third goals were just poor defending. The " experiment" of playing Meekings at right back is not working. He gets caught out when attacking and is slow to get back (and invariably goes towards central defence when he does). Needs to go back to centre back asap. Devine has bombscare moments in most games and it can only be down to a lack of concentration. His distribution is poor as well and I think this is impacting on Warren's performance as his have not been great either. Too many players off the pace until 0-3 down but could easily have got a draw which we would have deserved. Fans posting on here saying not renewing season tickets, not going to attend next season due to this season puzzles me. With football, you cannot predict how seasons/games will go, not even Celtic/Man Utd can do that. Let's look forward to the new season and get behind the team and ditch some of this, largely undeserved negativity from some posters who think we have the divine right to win every game, just look at the Dundee result yesterday to see how difficult it can be to win games in this league.
  10. Again hypothetical but how much of the cash would need to be used to secure a new manager?.
  11. Totally agree with this, something that some posters appear to have overlooked.

Not to me it doesn't as things are not quite so simple. Nothing said about the loss of quality players who we were going to struggle to replace no matter who was the manager. Some posters have never wanted JH and have not been prepared to give him ant sort of leeway. To be sure, this season could have gone better but, in reality, will have been no worse, in terms of league position than many others. Clubs like ICT will always struggle to achieve consistency and the good seasons will be outweighed by ones that are less good as other clubs will snap up our good players. Just look at Dundee Utd as an example of how quickly things can change. The only way the club will really progress is twofold, by rearing more of it's own players and more fans attending on a regular basis. If that doesn't happen, enjoy the good seasons and continue to support the team during the bad seasons.
  13. Same here if still available and would be a plus 1 as well

How the above could be classed as a quality post is beyond me. While I don't know the severity of Doran's injury, it does not look like it is career threatening and we are a much better team when he plays. If he is fit to play, we should sign him up. Why should we want to punt him and replace him with someone else who may not do the business. Again, why sell tansy unless he doesn't want to be here. He is one of our best and most consistent performers and can open up defences with his passing. Agree that Raven has justified a new contract but from some posts on here you would think he is a world beater. He is a good right back but no more than that. I don't like the way he has been treated but is this all down to Hughes. 6 contracts are with the board as indicated in the press and if so, could it not be the board are holding things up?. Were they waiting to see if we would be safe from relegation first before making decisions. Yogi is not perfect but the board are culpable on this matter as well.
  15. Deserved win today and for once the luck went for us for the penalty as we may have struggled without that boost. Today did again highlight some issues again for me. While everyone has been bemoaning our performances up front, I think defensively we were poor again today. Meekings is not a full back, only cover if nobody else to play. He quite often goes missing and caught out of position when attacking and defensively is not as effective as when playing centre back. Devine is too much of a bomb scare for me at times and his distribution can be very poor. I think this is part of the reason Warren is not playing as effectively as he can. Stand out performer in defence recently has been Tremarco. As for Yogi not appearing interested, don't know where that comes from, he was certainly up and shouting for large parts of the game.
  16. Totally agree with Renegade and Vigurs does not deserve to be dropped either and needs to play.
  17. All good posts but would suggest the people we really need to hear from now are the board. It would be good to hear their vision for the club going forward.
  18. Agree mostly with the above but possession football has to be the way to go albeit adapted for the players you have at your disposal. Remember that without possession of the ball, the game is much harder. Secondly, I don't think a club our size can ever hope to have 3/4 strikers on our books. At best 2 with a plan B to utilise other players if short up front. If you have 3/4, you will end up with 2 being, at best average, as if they were any good, they would not be sitting on the bench.

Pure speculation and not helpful at all. As for leaders on the park, in my opinion, that is sadly lacking at present and I would include Raven and Warren in that.
  20. You can coach players all you want but if they make mistakes during a game, not always the managers fault (not defending JH here, just making a point). In my opinion, too much coaching of players at times and this leaves some unable to think for themselves.
  21. No he didn't and how he missed the foul on Storey bursting through towards the end of the match was a joke. He simply turned his back and ran away. At every free kick for us, Motherwell deliberately stopped us taking the free kick quickly and did this all through the game. All the ref had to do to stop this, which he could have done, was to book someone. Poor refereeing has cost us this season on more than one occasion although it is not just us who suffers. The refereeing standards are now so poor in Scotland, it really needs to be fixed quickly as they are ruining games.
  22. Some ridiculous postings on this. This was a game we did not deserve to lose but defensive errors have cost us again. Cannot agree that we were as poor as some posters suggest as Motherwell came here for a point and showed very little attacking intent all game. Only one team wanted to win the game. Tremarco was MOM for me by a mile with Vigurs playing well too .I also thought Storey did okay in the first half on the wing as was getting by the defender to get crosses in. One thing that is apparent is that when we do up the tempo in games, we play much better and JH has alluded to this in his post match comments. As someone has already said, let's tie up our place in the top league and plan for next season as it will be much more difficult with Rangers coming back up. While a lot of criticism has been aimed at JH (and rightly so), some of this needs to be directed at the board as, in my opinion, they need to be more proactive in matters and I do sometimes wonder if they are just to afraid and cautious at times and cannot take the club up a level.
  23. Not me who is looking down my nose at our fans my friend as it appears anyone who disagrees with you is not entitled to say so. Didn't say anything about people being hurt or if seats were broken but if fans are behaving in an unseemly manner, even if only a minority, it can reflect on the club and perhaps discourage people from attending which is the opposite of what we both want.Being of a generation who have sung and shouted at football matches for over 40 years, I am happy to sing and support my team but will not sing along with certain songs if I think they are offensive. Enough said by me on this topic now.
  24. Whatever Dundee are paying, they can afford to pay more due to higher average gates than us. There crowds are a good 1 to 2 thousand more than us so getting more fand through the door is vital but Inverness does not seem to want to do this. If their American backers are also providing money........
  25. If away fans did this at our ground, we would be up in arms by jumping on seats and damaging them. Some of our so called younger fans think they can do what they want without consequences, time they either grew up or were punished and bugger off to create mayhem somewhere else. The club don't need them and your attitude only encourages some of these morons. Don't have any issues with fans getting behind the team but not for some of these actions from these "fans".
