  1. Did you actually read the reply before posting this?. Try using some punctuation and checking before you post if you want to make yourself more easily understood, that is not a dig at you, just an observation on your post.
  2. Isn't Curacao blue and made by BOLS IHE
  3. This constant carping about Vigurs is simply not justified. In the two games I have seen so far, he has been one of our better players. He seems top be a whipping boy for some of our support, if her doesn't play well, then by all means criticise but some posters on here will criticise him before a game even starts or when he plays well. Lets get behind all our players. As for yesterdays game, agree with most of what has been said. Thought Seedorf was MoM and really only Vigurs, Draper and Baird get pass marks. Ridgers does not inspire any confidence in goal and defensively, apart from Seedorf, thought we were very poor. How Chalmers stayed on for 90 minutes is beyond me as he was very poor. "Susan" played well like a Susan although he wasn't helped by some very poor refereeing which had him being continually fouled. Polworth was poor again. Oaklet and Cooper looked okay when they came on. As others have said, we gifted Falkirk both their goals and they only had one other worthwhile chance that I can recall. Main concern for me was that we did not create a lot either, as was the case against Brechin but still early days yet.
  4. Very harsh. Doran didn't asked to get injured and was injured (two different injuries) while playing for us. JH did not play him in as many games as he should have and RF used him very sparingly. If he fails to come back from this injury then we can look at cutting him free but a fit Doran is a huge asset to the team, more than can be said of some of the guys we have signed recently.
  5. Nonsense, he is undoubtedly one of our better players and has the ability to "make things happen" which was sadly lacking last season. Time will tell if he does the same this season as well. Sure he can appear lazy at times and his passes don't always come off but at least he sees these passes unlike Polworth. Much rather Vigur's attitude than Polworth's.
  6. Just my observations and they agree mostly with what has been said but Seedorf was the MOM. Draper, Vigurs, Warren and McKay were as you expected. Calder was more comfortable going forward and Mulraney was simply the same as last season, little end product. Baird looked okay and you know what you will get from him while I thought Oakley was poor today but he does look like an Alex Fisher type player. Polworth flattered to deceive yet again with some good touches but at times he looked lazy and disinterested. Ridgers, while having little to do did not inspire any confidence in me as did not come for any crosses as he should of. All this has to be tempered with the fact that players still finding their fitness and sharpness so difficult to be too critical of anyone today. All in all a good first performance in what in many ways was a pre season friendly as well. Fitness and sharpness will come. Once again however, Mulraney received little protection from the referee who was very poor. Some of the tackles put in by Brechin were extremely robust and took a long time to be punished and the nonsense involved in Warren trying to get back on after his injury was pure farce. Some things never change in Scottish football.
  7. Come on guys, I knew the game was off yesterday and this was in the local press today, a bit of outrage over very little methinks.
  8. Interesting and informative post Scotty, well to me anyway. However this does demonstrate that there are still problems at the club at boardroom level which need to be addressed. A strong leader is required and, for me, the jury is still out on our new chairman.
  9. That's the problem, there should be lots going on. Maybe there is behind the scenes but nothing so far to enthuse fans.
  10. Have to agree with your last sentence. Mr Cameron is as culpable as anyone for the current mess we find ourselves in. In my opinion, contact with the fans deteriorated when he was Chairman and his record was not good although the rest of the board must take some responsibility but as Chairman, it was Mr Cameron's role to take the club forward. I have said this before that we have had no forward planning from the board for several years and this has now come home to roost for the club in many ways be it young players coming through, facilities etc.
  11. Don't think anyone could have foreseen the injury he sustained early in the season as not one he suffered before. When he came back at the end of the season, doubtful if he was fully fit but never let the team down in any game I saw him play.
  12. Not so sure about Boden departing as we are still short of striking options.
  13. I fail to understand some fans wanting Nick Ross back. Didn't perform at Dundee despite playing a fair number of games, something that many fans complained he didn't get here. Far too light weight and contributes little to the team despite his undoubted skill.
  14. It's all right Dougal, I won't. The point I was making was that I was not happy with the board's original decision but would be renewing my season ticket for the benefit of trying to ensure the club derived as much revenue as possible this season. Any money I save will be used to purchase merchandise to help the club's finances.. Interesting to see if the club maintain season ticket numbers at similar levels or will the board keep this a secret again??.
  15. While I would be happy if Storey came back, would not want Nick Ross back. Didn't do a lot for us on a consistent basis and not exactly a roaring success at Dundee,
  16. For what it's worth, and this is entirely my opinion, it is not so much the cost of the season ticket but the way this has been communicated. Most fans will want us to get back to the Premier League as soon as possible so the club have to generate as much revenue as they can in the coming season. If we could guarantee extra fans coming through the gate to watch a winning and successful team next season (hopefully), then the increase may not have been required but the fickle football public of Inverness could certainly not be relied upon for this. I am prepared to renew my season ticket but do want some answers from the board on where they see the direction of the club. Had this been sent out with the season ticket renewals, this may have mitigated some of the anger from fans. There is an appalling lack of communication, possibly even understanding by the board on how to run a football club and this has to change quickly. This needs to involve the fans as well. I know there is another thread thanking Kenny Cameron for his services to the club. I do not know Kenny Cameron but, while it appears he was a nice man, his lack of understanding, along with other board members perhaps as well, have contributed to a traumatic and quick decline in ICT's fortunes and this should not be forgotten by fans. He was the man in charge and therefore had to take responsibility for all the events that transpired.
  17. No thank you, remember he got Dundee Utd relegated and wasn't a success at York.
  18. I would hazard a guess at Brian Rice and because he has the potential to step up. If a good player is available and can improve the team, we have to consider him.
  19. There is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone who renews their season ticket at these prices for next season if they wish to do it. I will be renewing mine as I want to see my club survive and prosper. Appreciate some people will not want to or can afford to but that is their choice. If anyone is a belter it is you as I am at a loss as to why you even support ICT, if you actually do.
  20. Why do so many fans want to back for previous managers?. The club needs new blood both on and off the field, not those who were here in the past.
  21. Beat me too it Renegade and the same could be said of a lot of the others mentioned.
  22. Saddest thing about both these teams is that ICT were better than both of them by some considerable distance had it not been for poor managerial decisions.
  23. If this is true, then the board are as culpable as RF in this and they should hang their head in shame for going behind RF's back to speak to the players. To me, this shows a total lack of understanding of how football works. Incidentally, I have been told the director resigned because he thought Foran needed help from an experienced person but the rest of the board disagreed.
  24. Seriously???. I don't know if the new Chairman will be good or bad but want to hear more from him before judging him. Too many posters seem to think this is the beginning of the end of ICT which it most certainly is not. Agree however that the managerial position must be sorted out asap.
  25. But after the 5-1 defeat to Hearts, I don't think he started another game in the league. Fisher needed a run of games to show what he could do and so does Boden, perhaps alongside Fisher.
