Who?
1. Robbo on a contract to end of year with option to extend it if he keeps us up 2. John Hughes (looks like he is on his way out at Falkirk - but ICT may have same issues as Falkirk (money/size)) 3. see who else is available and a realistic target

Possible Midfield Targets
Strike De Rosario off the list .... hailing from the eastern fringes of Toronto, he has only just signed for TFC and sees this as a homecoming after a few years on the road. PS - like the thread I closed earlier, there does not appear to be any actual rumour in this ... just yet another wishlist !!!

Swallow Your Pride
if you chant something without swears then there is also less chance that the match commander can have you huckled out for abusive language !!!

Brewster acknowledges the fans at last.
no, that was the journalist !!! He has never admitted his role in any of this malaise and therein lies the problem. Cant really add anything to what others have said ... for the good of Inverness Caledonian Thistle he must go, and he must go NOW.

scanning P&B, this post from a Well fan pretty much summed it up !!!!

Barry and Blackie.
Whilst I have no reason to doubt CaleyD, I have also heard from a credible source that Blackie was dropped today. Whether that was a decision based on him carrying the remnants of an injury as described by CaleyD and Stevico, or whether it was a knee-jerk reaction to him informing the club that he would be looking to move in the window is up for debate. If injured, then fair enough, if dropped then that is another bad decision ... each place is worth more than 75K and the cost of relegation can run into millions ........ Ian Black is still an ICT player, and I would think that he has enough personal integrity to perform as well as he can despite his impending move. We cannot afford to drop him unless injured.

Rooney on for Imrie ..... so going 5-3-2 instead of 5-4-1

Motherwell -V- ICT : matchday thread
I dont have a problem with us trying something new, but it is quite apparent from the commentators that the big problem is that the players (especially) defendfers havent got a scoobie what to do in this new formation .... Has it actually been discussed, or roles discussed? more than a few times, the comment has been made that the defenders appear to be discussing who is to pick up who etc and McGuire has been described as having a shocker that is neither a defender or a sweeper. How about we try something else new ....... sacking the manager and putting in someone (anyone) who actually has a clue.

5 at the back against a team who have only scored once in six games and according to the commentators our defence still cant pick up a man and allow a goal ..........

interesting to see how they line up .. the preview on RS said McGuire at sweeper, a back four of Hastings, Munro, Proctor (as central defender) and Tokely .... Cowie, McBain, Duncan and Imrie in midfield with Wood plowing a lonely furrow up front

the point is moot as a response was received, but the ICT code of practice is bogus as the club licensing documentation from UEFA (which we are obliged to follow) states 7 days

every club in Scotland is a selling club ....... including the OF. 3rd division clubs sell to 2nd division, 2nd sell to 1st (and sometimes SPL), first sell to SPL and SPL sell to bigger SPL teams or teams from England and/or Europe. There is almost always a bigger fish !!!! We are a mid to lower half SPL side and will routinely sell or lose players to teams above us. We dont like it, but there is not a lot we can do about it. You could argue that we should be on a par with 4 or 5 other sides but we certainly cannot compete with the OF, Aberdeen, DUFC, Hearts, & Hibs in terms of resources. Having said all that, I dont think we have quite got the hang of it yet and can be incredibly naive !!! We routinely put players on 2 year contracts meaning that at the end of their first season, they are already in the shop window, and we seem to leave it late in beginning negotiations so probably lose more players than we should and for less money than we could reasonably expect to get.

Our current squad
I have taken the names from the official site and removed McNulty and Kerr from the squad list because they are on loan, Wilson because it has been confirmed he is going, Djebi-Zadi because we think he may be going, Black and Cowie because I fear we will not be able to keep them while Brewster remains in charge and Brewster himself because, although registered as a player, we know he wont take part in first team games due to his shoulder. going into the transfer window, that leaves a potentially SCARY squad in terms of inexperience and cover if we actually lose Black and Cowie and cant pick up the required central defender and experienced striker we have all been clamouring for. GK Fraser - young, still learning, decent keeper but needs to command box better so DEF have confidence Esson - current #1. Done well since coming in. glad he is here as #1 or #2 McNulty - on loan to Elgin. Not sure how decent he is Defenders Hastings - having a bit of a mare this season Munro - needs solid partner and confidence in his keeper. also needs to learn the Bobby Mann style of hoofing (to feet). Duff - Great prospect who has done well but is young and inexperienced. McGuire - Decent backup, nothing more. Tokely - Legend who gives his all. sometimes though, that is not good enough. Proctor - decent on the right but NOT a centre half Djebi-Zadi - one who will be going ? Kerr - on loan to Elgin, no idea how good. Midfield McBain - can be good, can be bad, depends on the day. Useful squad player Duncan - an enigma. Many dont like him but plays defensive role well. miss him when he's not playing. Black - one of our two midfield stars. unfortunately, I believe he will go Cowie - our other midfield star. unfortunately, I believe he will go too Wilson - unfortunately, we know he is already going Imrie - bags of potential at times but inexperience often shows through Sutherland - looks like he has lots of potential but very little experience in being able to show it Vigurs - an excellent prospect. Hasnt done much wrong but can he be the main midfielder if Black/Cowie go ? Gillespie - another youngster with potential but can he develop in such an inexperienced team Forwards Rooney - would be good if partnered with an experienced forward. Barrowman - struggling to find himself at this level and head seems to go down and make him look lazy. Wood - tries hard, and may be a good forward but like Rooney, needs experience around him. McAllister - has had too long to prove himself. with 3 inexperienced strikers ahead of him its time to go. Brewster - still registered as a player even though we know he wont play because of his shoulder. I dont look at the official site much but also found this post mentioning the start date of the 09/10 SPL season quite ironic http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1492786,00.html
