stick your scarf in the back window .... thats what I do !!!

If that is the quoted reason then it is utter ***** !!! Do you know who sat there for many years through the lower divisions ? ... yes, it was ME :003:, Big Stu, Calum, and Stu's brother Ross (although a lot of the time Blair or Willie Fisher would get his ticket as he was working away). To one side was P&B, Sian, ATT (Above the Tunnel), and a few others, to the other side Doresboy, Guzz, Uncle Albert, Kenny & Barry Wright etc ..... We might have got worked up and shouted "words of encouragement" over the tunnel to ICT players and opposition alike but I can 1000% guarantee that there was never a stick or any other object poked down in the direction of any player, nor a desire to do so. If that is what is being said, and it is being said about seasons in the lower divisions then I would like more details as it appears to be defamatory.

I would suggest you contact him again directly or via the supporters' trust. I dont think he was lying to you. It has always been my understanding that flagpoles & sticks are banned but if there were loads at Hampden today then that may need clarified - I would bet that it has something to do with the thickness of the pole/stick or maybe to do with the governing body ... SFA / SFL / SPL ? As for surfing flags, dont think they are banned yet, just frowned upon
-
dont think we can recall him (or Wood) - the loan was extended to end of season and there was no mention of a recall clause although one might exist.

so do I !!!!! but I will settle for better reliability in the new datacentre (hopefully)

I fell asleep with the predictability of your remarks :012:

bottom line is that nobody knows what the SPL will/would do ...... and the lack of any comment on their own official website (the SPL's i mean) seems to suggest they havent got a clue ! fo every article saying there will be relegation, you can find another that says no ..... No relegation - daily record
-
nope... this has already been answered several times, but here goes again ..... if Gretna fold then all games they have already played will be void and the points will be deducted from whichever team won them (whether that is Gretna or the opposition). Future games wont exist so there will be no points to dish out. The final league table would reflect 11 teams playing each other 3 times (to the split) + post-split games Final league table for top six would have them playing 30 +5 = 35 games, bottom five would be 30 + 4 = 34 games

they will just change the rules .... its not like it hasnt happened before !

My first account was at the Inverness Savings Bank (i think) which later became the TSB

Its the old cliche but football is a short career for most players ... not all of them can make it into coaching, become managers or TV/Radio pundits and I have no issue with any player trying to get the best possible deal for themselves and their family that might make it a little easier when they have to revert to the "real" world, get a normal job and all that. We would all do the same in their position. I can see where Duncan is coming from with regards to the testimonial ... what good is it as a sweetener if the club are going to move the goalposts somewhere along the line and he has quoted a prime example of that happening not just to any old player but to a player who was the club captain at the time .... I said it before and I will say it again ..... we do not know the details of what he was offered but I would indeed re-sign him if he is prepared to accept a decent offer in line with what other first team players get (assuming the club have actually made such an offer) but not if his (or his agent's) demands are that he be put on a par with Niculae as he doesnt warrant that. As for agents - the only polite thing I can say is "not a big fan of them" :023:

I meant to comment on this thread but got waylaid with administering others ....... I am delighted Rossco has signed on again. He may not be the most skillful player in the SPL but we have had 100% effort and commitment from him for a long long time. solid, dependable and loyal, another true ICT legend. :021: On another bright note - have seen comments on a couple of other websites indicating Wyness is about to put pen to paper on a 2 year deal.

At the end of the day, all the furore over his contract is not his fault so I congratulate him for getting into the squad and hope he gets a chance to play and maybe do well.

Like Golly & Caff you mean ? or like Mann, Teasdale, Bagan or others who were discarded by the club (and, it has to be said - by the fans too) at one point or another. And therein lies the problem ... Those who rate him are scratching their heads at why he can blow hot and cold, and those who dont rate him are scratching their heads at why others are bothered ! As I said above - I would indeed re-sign him if he is prepared to accept a decent offer in line with what other first team players get (assuming the club have actually made such an offer) but not if his (or his agent's) demands are that he be put on a par with Niculae as he doesnt warrant that.

The back garden ...... you could almost see the grass on Friday - there was about half an inch of snow left on the ground and in places the grass was peeping through .... what you see here for the most part fell from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening [attach=1] [attach=2] but at least the dog loves it !!! Weather !!!! don't get me started !!!! This winter has seen Toronto get nearly 7 feet of snow in a short period of time and its now only something like 4 inches away from breaking the all-time winter record for the city !!! http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_20417.aspx http://www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/story/200...0/tto-snow.html My driveway and back garden were virtually clear of the white stuff on Friday but yesterday it took me nearly two hours to dig myself out of the house to the car and then to clear my driveway so the car could get out of it ...... as for the back garden, I will post a picture later that shows how crazy it has been ! At least the dog loves it though ... she cant get enough of the snow (daft mutt doesnt have to shovel the feckin stuff!). But at least we are not Ottawa - they have had 13.5 FEET of snow this winter and need only another foot to break the record. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2008/03/10/...ips-winter.html Global Warming indeed !!! [and before the PC crowd start, yes I know, the correct term is now "global climate change" and refers to extremes at both ends of the spectrum as well as anomalous or freak weather and not just "warming"] :blah01:

I think the old heads have this one !!!! RD -when on his game - is one of the unsung heroes of the side quietly mopping up stuff and performing the onerous and unglamourous task of a defensive midfielder. Not for him the surging runs of an attacking midfielder or a winger, not for him the half dozen goals from midfield each season, and not from him the last ditch crunching tackles that get defenders noticed and congratulated. Instead, you get a "journeyman" defensive midfielder who on his day can be the glue that holds the side together but on others can be cruelly exposed. If it were up to me then RD would indeed be offered a contract befitting his status which would be as a regular first team member. Bearing in mind that none of us know what has actually been offered then I would also say that if he is holding out for Niculae style wages then he is living in cloud cuckoo land but if the club are penny pinching and not offering him a similar pay scale to that of other first team regulars then it is they who need to give themselves a good shake.

They are also allowed to take a "loan" from the SPL that is deducted from their end of season payment.
-
if Gretna fold they will be classed as the relegated club. if Gretna go into administration, they will be deducted 10 points and be relegated on points. either way, ICT and others should be safe !

Some very valid points made - especially regarding multiple users on same PC. However, the bottom line is that what we have found in recent weeks is that the same IP address has been voting for the same player 1st 2nd and 3rd then by the look of it clearing cookies and doing it again the next day, and the next and the next etc. These are the votes that will be discarded. By reverting to login-ID it removes the IP checking and relies on flagging the actual user account so multiple voting should not be possible.
