  1. still in the pipeline but unless you want to front up the cash for this we all have mortgages to pay and families to feed. Edit - you react as 'confused' dougal .... let me try to explain in with as few syllables as possible : it takes time to set up, it takes time to get the data, it takes time to enter that data. A LOT of time. As we all have real lives to live and real obligations outside of this bubble then it will get done as and when/where time permits unless someone wants to pay us to take a sabbatical from our real jobs to speed things up .... therefore its still in our plans but no timeline is set.
  2. In a word ... Money. Being Bronze directly impacts the amount of money received from the SFA compared to being assessed as Silver. You get the rating of your lowest criteria and without a named SLO you cant get silver. The document is worth a read as it gives you an idea of where/how the criteria are applied, not just in this area but in loads more. (attached for convenience) In terms of this thread, it is simple, scottish-fa-club-licensing-manual-2018.pdf
  3. indeed ...... But if a private response is not received soon, you may very well be able to judge for yourself publicly.
  4. care to explain the last part of your comment?

  8. First they would have to establish communication with us to figure that out. We are more than happy to do so, and have been with every group of officials and staff for the last 25 years, but my emails to the CEO on other matters currently go unanswered. Single email address but multiple people involved behind the scenes instead of one according to the article .... It appears to be a workable solution, but given the current lack of communication from the stadium it sounds more like plausible deniability for everyone involved in this instance ! One of the unknown 'multiple people' responsible will be apportioned blame and thrown under the bus, to be replaced by another unknown person (or possibly the same one !)
  9. good result .... icing on the cake for me was arriving at the TFC game later that day and seeing 3 guys in the seats next to mine (father and two twenty-something sons). They are not regulars in those seats and must have bought the tickets from the usual season ticket holders on the ticket exchange. Got talking to them and they usually go to a different section of the ground, one son was a Celtic fan, the other a Man U fan but the dad was a Partick fan !! Had to rub it in just a little bit
  10. This is all getting below the belt. Will have to ask the mods for a second and turd opinion.

  14. Thats exactly the point though ... The community are not celebrating the fact they are LGBTQ, they are celebrating the fact that in modern times they are now allowed to be LGBTQ publicly without having to hide their true selves or expect to be treated differently. This has not always been - and in some places still is not - the case. As for the heterosexual population ... I dont think we have been persecuted for being straight so the comparison about marches is not really relevant.
  15. yes, thats the one thats meant. It was shared about an hour after that post was made here ! Definitely worthwhile to fill it in though regardless of where you heard about it ?
  16. Daily Record & Sun have published more info https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/ross-county-suspend-youth-coach-13244657 https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/3208066/ross-county-childrens-coach-charlie-mcphee-suspended-indecent-messages-police/ Just so everyone remembers - we have to tread very carefully in discussion subjects where there is police involvement. At this point, no charges have been laid and any posts that go too far, talk about things not in the public domain, or comment on aspects of any case that are subject to the police investigation will be removed from view.
  17. Living over here we dont have a single Pride march, its a week long event culminating with the Dyke March on a Saturday and the main Pride Parade on the Sunday. Both of these close down many of the busiest city streets in Toronto but its not a problem ... Toronto also hosted World Pride in 2014 and that was even bigger ! According to the first link I posted from HuffPost, the roots are as a protest back in the 70s when being gay was a crime in many more places than it (still) is now, and where sexuality had to be hidden. Nowadays, it is more of a celebration where people are happy they can express themselves how they wish, as well as perhaps protest or raise awareness of some of the issues that still exist within the community. Most of us may have the common sense to say live and let live without prejudice to race, gender, sexuality or religion but unfortunately there are still people like Mr Morrison around and whether people like him like it or not, the world has moved on from his very insular and parochial viewpoint (which also saw him mentioned in a blog post opposing the appointment of female ministers). https://www.huffingtonpost.com/charlene-obernauer/whats-the-point-of-pride-marches_b_3462807.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pride_parade https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/lgbtq-pride-parade-6-things-you-need-understand-you-participate-63141
  18. Good grief ... what century is this man living in !! Time to get the rainbow emojis out !!
  19. Saw the news last night when Bill McAllister posted it to his facebook feed . Sad news indeed.
  20. I know Stevie Hislop used to check us out ... he didnt like Mantis' comments about the way he walked and had a "full and frank discussion" with me about it at least twice There's a fair few players, former players and officials registered and lurking with odd ones participating. Based on conversations I have had I know there are just as many who say "I dont go there, its always so negative" although sometimes not so politely !!! Each to their own I suppose. I have long since stopped being bothered about who posters are, its more important what they say !
  21. we have usually allowed groups to create additional official accounts to post things in an official manner. I think there is a CaleyJagsTogether account that can be renamed and used for this purpose.
  22. i was wrong .... seems the fix the software providers applied for RiG's question also fixed this issue ... let me know next time you get that popup to see if it works ... it did for me today.
  23. this should be fixed now . the software providers identified the issue and resolved it.
  24. We are happy to work with the club in any manner that will enhance communication with the fans. Sadly, I don't think that will be reciprocated.
  25. I think I see both sides here CMIB ... I am a bit like you too albeit even further away. The day to day stuff and the engagement have less effect on either of us given the distance involved. I am not sure if the supporter survey talked about in another thread covers this eventuality but I am guessing the relevance of engagement as a factor in your decision to attend games drops off exponentially in relation to distance away from the club. We will still turn up to watch a game as and when we can because we have to make all sorts of arrangements to get there in the first place. In my case I obviously have to have flights, car hire, accommodation and nowadays I also have to keep an eye on school holidays for my little guy which is going to make things more difficult after this year. Although our trips are ostensibly to visit family, I would be lying if I did not confess to checking the fixture list out of the corner of my eye when my wife is talking about possible dates and maybe moving things a few days here and there to see if I can fit more games in !!! I also seldom visit between June and August when there is no footie !! However, I know engagement, presence and interaction can and do matter to those in and around Inverness (like OCG) . When that engagement and fan interaction is non-existent, as it currently is (and has been at points in the past also) then that absolutely has a detrimental effect on the perception and affinity most normal people have for their club. You still support it, but in many cases you feel they only speak to you when they want something (usually from your pocket). It wont stop you attending games or buying merchandise or anything else but you don't get that same warm and fuzzy feeling you normally do when it feels like we are all in it together (as it did after our first relegation). I do hope they sort themselves out communication wise. They are currently going backwards and it is painful to watch !
