googled SFA Rule 402 and in all cases there is no description. nothing on the SFA website either. Seems to only be in youth competitions so guessing it either has something to do with age of a player or perhaps rules surrounding supervision/chaperone. I wouid not hold your breath on resumption of this. It makes no money, in fact its a drain on things so its unlikely to happen in my opinion unless someone sponsors the cost or they can find a way for it to be self financing.

I think the refs have his card marked before a ball is ever kicked based on past reputation/indiscretions .... In the two games I saw when I was back in Inverness he showed decent maturity and got booked for nothing other than being pushed over in the QOS game ... he didnt even retaliate at that one and still got booked. I think he gets a rough ride from the refs. Whilst he can be and has been hot headed, I saw him play with maturity and restraint while I was over. His sending off against Livi was BS and his booking against QOS was ridiculous.

QOS fans are usually pretty decent. I also thought their chants were more ironic than moronic. After Bell scored .... "4-3 .. we're gonna win 4-3" ... classic stuff .. think we have even done that on occasions !

Ref really was a clown today. There were a few meaty challenges that saw no action on his part, and several - especially Vigurs - that were beyond belief. When the ref is audibly justifying his decisions to the coaches on the sidelines then you know he really is clueless. I thought Rooney should have walked. you raise your hands, you are off. Vigurs on the other hand I was pleasantly surprised. He played it very mature today - apart from one occasion where he was mouthing off at Muir (who was woeful) - and I was pleasantly surprised when he got pushed to the ground that he thought about retaliating but didnt ... then despite that gets booked anyway by Muir ! Ref was a clown for the entire 90 minutes as far as I am concerned. although there were a few meaty challenges, this was not a dirty game and with the exception of Rooney pushing Vigurs to the ground, could probably have been a cardless game. Thought Vigurs was MOM today by a decent margin, with Calder his closest challenger. He was playing a mature game and bar him having a wee pop at the ref midway through it, he was concentrating on, and succeeding at, playing some very nice football. Yup, that sounds about right. I thought Vigurs edged Calder out for MOM but he put in a nice shift and has some good pace and guile about him. He turned his opponents inside out several times and although he is young and raw I think we have unearthed a wee gem there. Brian Rice and Robbo are both helping him out with his positional awareness, but when he had the ball he needed no help with his skill and confidence.

This guy wasn't vocally encouraging his team ... he was turned towards us, not the pitch, and vocally winding us up ... People probably shouldn't have taken the bait but given many of us in that area had been in hospitality for a wee while before that the judgement may not have been the clearest .

I would also doubt it. There are a lot of decent keepers in MLS and most teams would not want to use up a valuable 'international' roster slot on a GK.

I was one of those spoken to ... We were in the upper stand (front row) with the rest of those who had been in hospitality. To be fair, he was correct to speak with me as I used profanity towards that grey-haired numpty from Livi that kept standing up and taunting the ICT fans. However, when asked by several of us if he would speak to the that specific Livi fan he just walked away. After that, I ignored the Livi guy and concentrated on calling the ref a rather tamer name than I wanted ..... 'a clown' :)

Spoke to him at the stadium after the game. Rest assured he is in no doubt about the fans' respect and level of esteem in which he is held. It took him a long time to finish all the requests for pictures and just as long to say thanks to everyone who was wishing him and his family well.
