  1. Why would he want one? If he'd made a contribution he might have wanted one but......naah.
  2. "Take that you gun toting hippy!" :(
  3. Care to elaborate? I'll speculate. DalneighCaley is one of those who swore never to return when the merger went ahead and he and all his cronies ventured north. His presence here is at most curiosity and I doubt he has even been to TCS other than to collect the garbage, clear the drains or as a rat catcher. :love06:
  4. Buses and trains were state owned. They were run down because of lack of investment from consecutive governments. The service we have now is far better than what we had years ago. There is continual investment in both the bus and rail industries in this country and I certainly don't think I should have to pay for it when I rarely use the services. I don't mind subsidising some services but we have enough public servants to carry as it is. If they can't maintain the bus service reduce the frequency, that way there'll be less empty buses driving about.
  5. Im sure i got one when i renewed my season ticket last year. Didnt get one this year though, havent heard if theyre doing them again. I hope they are, very handy to have Considering the fixtures were only released a couple of weeks ago I'd like to think they're at the printers or distributors now.
  6. Would the investment for upgrading the concourse into a bar not come from the owners of the concourse? Any increase in rent due should surely be well covered by the masses enjoying pre and post match refreshments.
  7. Off topic, I know but correct me if I'm wrong. Would the investment for upgrading the concourse into a bar not come from the owners of the concourse? Any increase in rent due should surely be well covered by the masses enjoying pre and post match refreshments.
  8. Don't agree entirely there. Any new initiative must be about enhancing the fans experience first and happy fans will spend more thereby increasing turnover.
  9. I'm not really one for betting but the lads at work ran a sweep for the WC Finals. ?10 a head gets 2 teams, one from the top 16 seeds and the other from the rest. 1st prize ?90 2nd prize ?40 3rd prize ?20 4th prize ?10 I drew Germany and Uraguay so have at least ?30 coming to me, I am hoping they both make the final so I can collect before the weekend. I wonder what odds I'd have got that they would both make the semis? :024:
  10. It's not really Beckham either though is it? Smart? :024:
  11. 2.5 hours drive plus extra for rush hour traffic on the way through as the road goes through many towns and villages. Allow 3 hours to drive and you won't miss anything. Don't try overtaking unless you are absolutely sure you can see enough of the road ahead, the A96 is terrible for accidents mostly caused by people overtaking at unsuitable spots.
  12. Was it Jimmy Hill who campaigned to have the wage cap abolished in the UK? I hate him, he's a poof, he's a poof!
  13. It doesn't appear to be on the online version but if you bookmark these you should be able to keep up to date. Inverness Courier sport Highland News sport
  14. Correct, no conviction. I too had a look, well OK jus one google search for "bobby moore convicted" The Colombians appeared to buckle under immense pressure. UK confidential. :moon2:
  15. Was "the knowledge" not there? I just noticed this one. :crazy03: Sorry, when I read the post I was thinking of Jimmy Hill.
  16. Ballistic Bar
  17. Do teams raise their games for meaningless friendlies? What a bizarre thing to say.
  18. Are you not in the slightest embarassed? I'd be gutted.
  19. The recently reformed Spandau Ballet supported him in Asia, maybe they'll still be on he tour.
  20. Was "the knowledge" not there?
  21. Dolphins are mammals, as are whales. Fishing like that is barbaric, the dolphins are lured into the cove and systematically speared from small boats and left to bleed to death. Dolphin meat is high in mercury (2000 ppm vs WHO recommended maximum of 0.5 ppm) and was distributed to schools for pupils lunches. It has to stop.
  22. Have to say I agree with CaleyD as well but he prob is the only ICT fan to have climbed it as i think only about 4,000 people have reached the summit. He isn't the only fan to have died though and having a picture of him above the tunnel is taking things a bit to far I think if any picture were to go above the tunnel it should be of someone or something more directly involved with the club. More involved than a supporter?
  23. Doh! They'd rather play Crewe than an elite Super Power League team?
