Not TB's eye but his contacts. We should be offering Terry and June new contracts as well so they can enjoy the fruits of their labour.

True, and if relegated they still have an SPL wage to draw which could have disastrous consequences on finances.

Who are you to question my loyalty to the club? Perhaps if you weren't so blind that you live in some ideal world where-by the club finances are mystically provided year-on-year you would understand that the club is a business and any businesses needs to break even as a minimum. In order to do that you need a healthy turn-over covering the costs in our case thats not provided by the 3000 fans turning up weekly, so unless that increases signifcantly the only way to make money is sell off assests - i.e. players. I'd rather we sell players than end up in huge debts chasing a dream. Where from? We are 2nd in the league, in a cup semi, highest scorers in the league, playing entertaining football and still only getting 3000 fans at a game. There is nowhere for cash to roll in from that I can see? If we also progress in the Scottish Cup there'll be even more money coming in, as the season nears it's end and we have maintained our position crowds will increase and if we keet the team signed up for another season there will be a feeding frenzy for season tickets in the summer (especially if we have a Euro spot). We have never still been in the running in three competitions before, let's stop being so negative and get behing the team and the club.

Call me cynical but was there not a bug circulating in Dingwall last week? Two postponed matches in succession, who was the referee that called it off?

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Get%20thee%20to%20a%20nunnery http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/philistine If the cap fits ! You come on to a public web site you are particulary rude. You show no respect to the people who set up this forum, they provided a platform for discussion If you do not wish to discuss it is particulary rude to yawn and make fun of the poster I come from a different generation to you ( I think) where we had to work long hours, we had poor schooling, we did not have the oportunies that people have today, but most of all we were taught to respect older people O.T. Sorry for dragging this off topic but what opportunities are there now that you never had? As I see it you "oldies" could walk out of a job on Friday then start a new one on Monday. A new national health service and welfare system that todays workers are paying dearly to maintain because of an older generation draining resources. Council housing waiting lists were a new thing but councils were still building houses. Poor schooling is an excuse for being either lazy or hard of thinking, if you'd studied hard you'd be rewarded just as happens today. I respect Scotty, enough not to post about cricket. Cricket on a Scottish Football Fansite? What reaction do you expect, seriously? Me, particularly rude? Let's have a look at your links shall we? Put together we have, Get thee to a nunnery - A literate way of telling a whore to GTFO. For the times when a simple "fuck off" just doesn't do it for you. Philistine - One uninformed in a special area of knowledge. Respect is earned Laurence and you may earn mine one day when you stop posting pish.

Are we the new Monaco?
Not sure how you deduce that we, or any other team, are punching above our weights any more. We were when we came into the league back in 04 and probably up until our relegation season. Since coming back two seasons ago I think we have matched every other team bar the twins. This season we have a team who can outplay and outperform any other in the league (barring the Steelers) so we are far from punching above our weight. We are on a par with them all. I can, however, understand how that would p1ss you off though Smee. Being the eternal pessimist you are it must be galling not to have so many opportunities to make negative comments. We are 19 games into the season with 19 to go. 20 points clear of the bottom. 5 points off the top. Possibility of European football. Still in the two cups with a chance of at least one final. In a position where our team can actually enjoy their game more and therefore produce results. A position where the fans are so elated that they can accept that the odd defeat will happen but that we will still be strong and all you can do is try and pour water on the fire. You need to get a life mun. Your such a pr1ck Alex and full of sh1t at times. If i am the eternal pessimist......please supply me with 10 negative comments i have made this year. Bare in mind i say negative....not to be confused with being a realist and being grounded.Should prove easy if im so negative! If we are not punching above our weight right now...why have we never reguarly featured in the top 6 most seasons? Lets rewind to this time last season and how dire things were. But cause ICT are having a good run.....many are pasting their pants over it. Not meaning to p1ss on anyones firework, but in answer to the OP question, Id say were are in a false position. We have been punching well above our weight so far this season. Im a realist, and come the end of the season, i think we will be doing brilliant to be battling to be in the top half of the league. We play Celtic on 9th Feb, that's 3 days before they face Juventis. I doubt if they'll field their best 11 and risk any injuries. Just thinking out loud.

When was the last time....?
I thought he went to Ayr Utd when we were in the 1st division, can't see how he could score for us in the SPL. Ah, I get it. 2 questions different answers, I was looking for one answer.
