  1. Here Here. Ive come to the conclusion that some people on this site are never happy. We beat a SPL side with a bit of flair for heaven sake. Ive been going to football matches for over 30 years now and have never heard players abused in the way they are being lately.Like Harry I also was not happy about the heavy handed stewarding sometimes but some folk seem to be getting out of hand. I understand it wasnt everyone in the section but agree with telling folk to sort it out.
  2. TB doesnt seem bothered calling him "Lazarus" on the club site.
  3. Kingsmills club was in darkness after the game so I suspect uptake was not enough to open.
  4. Came into the ground just after kickoff ( after selling programmes) and there was still a huge queue at the shop waiting for kids tickets. Bit of a shambles all round. Also it was not clear in the earlier publicity that it was 1 free kid per adult and this caused a lot of confusion as well. There also seemed to be a particular problem if you had more than one child as you had to pay for one and get a free ticket for the other and the turnstiles couldnt cope with this. For all the kids that were there compared to a normal gate could they not have just let all kids in free via a turnstile. Totally agree with the voucher idea as well. totally agree that this showed our club in a poor light to Motherwell fams but it was clear on their website that tickets had to be purchased in advance but not that it was only 1 free child.
  5. Great result and I must admit a bit of a surprise on a night I was just glad to see a game at last. Poor Mwell side but good performance from us and really classy goal celebration from D Imrie esq. Killie pies next round a definite bonus. Hope this good feeling continues.
  6. According to the Motherwell website thepitch passed an inspection today by a local official. The inspection tomorrow morning will include the surrounding areas but it looks likely to be on. So see you tomorrow guys hopefully!
  7. Personally think a tad harsh. I just wonder if a fine would have been the punishment had the prize not been a possilble next round game with Celtic. As for the OF well if they made this mistake I think the punishment would have to be the same now the precident has been set - wouldn't it ? Do agree that life would be easier if suspension served at next competitive game but aint burocracy grand.
  8. Bit confused by the quote by TB saying that Duff had been a wonderful player for us! I hardly think he was here long enough.
  9. Ah great memories of the Airdrie match. Didnt see any of the penalties as I had my eyes shut! Never would happen now of course would have been cancelled on health and safety grounds.
  10. Have to agree with all of this especially about Proctor Duff and Odhiambo.
  11. OK we wanted a change of caterer and thats what we got. Im not happy at the price increases but we now have more choice of merchandise to buy. There were macaroni pies on Saturday as my son had one early on so they just need to supply more. The service is slower but Im sure will speed up as folk get more used to their jobs. Got offered a drinks carrier for the first time on saturday and the west stand girls had ran out of lids but more appeared very quickly. I really think we need to give this a chance to work and just accept that we are not going to get prices reduced.
  12. At least the club is listening! Hopefully there will be an improvement in the service and quality of product on match days.
  13. Partick let U16's in free to all SFL matches but last week we still spent money on a prog/raffle in the stadium bar and tea bar so they still get the money in other ways. The adult tickets were ?18 so probably subsidise this kids as well.
  14. It would be good if the Kingsmills suite or pub/tent had a family area like the pubs at other grounds.
  15. I sit in Section E and have no problem with this suggestion.
  16. Top six dont feel too bad about the chant. Gave us all the best laugh of the afternoon.
  17. Im going to get a "I went to Partick and all I got was a lousy cold" t-shirt. I think as others have suggested that we look an unfit team. Everyone seemed to look very jaded yesterday. However all of us outsung the poor home crowd. Best laugh of the afternoon award goes to top six next year. Very disappointing afternoon in very poor conditions as we were unable to see the far goal for a lot of the 2nd half. A draw would have been a fairer result.
  18. Could maybe section G be kept unreserved if the majority in this section agreed. Personally I like my seat in section E and join in with the singing as well. However I like going to some away grounds and picking where I sit and being able to sit beside who I want to without too much prior planing.
  19. Can someone just tell TB that some folk are not happy re this and we can then move on the discussing more important things instead of nitpicking.
  20. I do think the lack of atmosphere at home is due to not having somewhere like the Tulloch Institute to go to before the game. It had all we needed booze, cheap food, good crack and kids welcome. Also on Sunday I think most folk were up for the game and determined to have a good day out. Dunno about highlights but I skyplused the game and have relived the agony several times now!
  21. me plus 3. Looking forward to getting back to winning.
  22. Just have to say that in the 1st half would have voted for them all.
  23. couldnt post last night too upset and boy does it still hurt today. So much for it being a diddy cup! 1st half breathtaking. I really didnt know we could play like that. However even at half time I had this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that things were about to go wrong. It was so obvious that Dee were going to come out and hit us hard in the 2nd half and we blew it pure and simple. However the players ran till some were almost dropping and at least we know we can play well. As for Imrie well I dont think he can have much complaints but Dundee certainly are not a sporting team are they? Was glad to see the players and TB come over and applaud the fans at the end I think we deserved it. However up till 4pm had a great day. Great crack at the Tulloch Institute before the game. Hi to Gringo Jnr and Graeme and thanks for your company.

Dunno about outside but in the stand you could hear the tannoy everywhere even in the ladies loo!
  25. Was surprised that you could wander between the stand and the terrace as you liked. Certainly potential for overcrowding there. As for the stewards they were rubbish. they told everyone to sit where they liked which was rubbish and caused a lot of disruption when folk came in late and seats then had to be swapped. The view was crap enough without this as well. I would never sit in their stand again as we had to sit in front of the abusive County hospitality crowd looking for a rise out of one of us. Stewards just stood and watched. All in all a crap day.
