  1. cheers! What a rip off even worse than our awful parking arrangements. See you there.
  2. Would like to go especially after yesterday. Wots the parking a Falkirk like? Will we need tickets? anyone know.
  3. Probably would have been quicker! Just have to convince my lazy children. The panic yesterday was because we left it so late - need to be more organised but you're right.
  4. Did the bus eventually turn up yesterday? There was loads of folk waiting by 2.35 give up and took a taxi. Was waiting from 2pm as well. Not much use using the bus if unreliable.
  5. It was a penalty we could see it clearly from the North stand and as the rules stand he had to go! Russell Duncan silly boy - all I saw was him dropping to the ground like he had been hit by Mike Tyson. However, the tv showed it a bit differently - no contact with his face at all. The ref, despite all this, was really poor and gave us nothing as far as I could see so no apology neccessary. The main reason we lost was not the ref but the old story of not being able to get the ball into the net.
  6. OMG Maybe things are really looking up at last. Well done to the boys and manager. All the sweeter getting off the bottom at Ibrox.
  7. Funny how all the Sunday papers said it was a penalty when the tv put the lines on the screen and clearly showed it was'nt. Also felt he dived.
  8. I remember Matthew in the High School. He was a prefect in the mid to late seventies.
  9. I am personally quite happy with this appointment and think this has given us a bit of credibility within Scotland. Thought he spoke well on tv - nice to have an articulate manager for a change. Think the board have shown bottle in the contract offered and with the money on offer for players. I just hope this gamble works. Good luck to Terry and Maurice I hope everyone can stop moaning for a while (sometimes that has been justified) and get behind the team and management in the most important games of our club's history.
  10. Ayr's goal deffo reminisant of "hand of GOD"
  11. hope so any points would be welcome
  12. no no no no this is a stunt !
  13. Can't see Ossie being our man! I agree this is just another Warnock stunt. I doubt Ossie even knows where Inverness is. It's a long way from Hertfordshire that's for sure.
  14. Lunchbreak at work. Logged on out of boredom but soon cheered up when I heard the news. Had a large smile on my face all afternoon Sorry!
  15. Attended IHS 1975 - 1980 Role was 1600 until Charleston opened. When I started in first year there were 10 register classes.
  16. Thanks for nothing BBC. Surely you're not allowed to depress the licence payers like this. GRIM VIEWING!
  17. Have just read the article quoting Charlie. Sounds like the man himself would have been quite happy to be the interim boss rather than Graeme Bennett but was snubbed again. Charlie is an honourable person who knew what was best for his team even when it mean't his leaving. I don' think he should apply for the full job for lots of reasons but surely he should be found a role within the playing side especially at present.
  18. Yes agree! Here's to a much better 2009 for all Caley Jags fans.
  19. I'm with Caley D on this one. What exactly are we thanking Brew for? Bringing us to the verge of relegation! However I do wish him well for the future and hope he finds another job soon.
  20. I like Robbo but going back has not worked with Brew unfortunately. I think we need an experienced manager who has new ideas to bring to the club. Lets set our sights high this time even if it does cost the club money as going down to Div 1 is not an option.
  21. I can't believe how elated I feel about this! Things can only get better from now on surely and as we are not too far adrift from the rest and now have a real chance of staying up. Very surprised but happy sense is being shown at last.
  22. I loved going to the Playhouse at Christmas to post my letter to santa. They had a great fish tank in the tea room as well - afternoon tea there was always a great treat. I also remember the fab grotto in Benzies as well. It's so different these days not so special I think. Great memories of this time.
  23. Score in 1978 (29 July)was defo 6-3. Urq scored 2 and John Docherty scored the other for Caley. Billy was the first signing John Greig made as Rangers manager.
  24. With out current home form not sure if I'm as pleased as I should be with a home draw!
