  1. Think we have our wires crossed. If kids want to attend the games obviously would be organised by school. As for vouchers I an a parent council member and school would be delighted to accept vouchers. My workmates give me theirs sometimes. 12th man if no teachers reply please give your vouchers to someone rather than wasting them. Tescos normally have a box in store for extra ones which they give to a local school. Good initial idea though.
  2. well yes but now out of a job and sometimes not that easy to find another club and may have to move down South. Do think he should have been offered to stay though.
  3. Not a teacher but my kids go to a fairly small school that finds it hard to get things like this due to size. I'm sure the kids would be delighted to come to the games but not every week as in Fort Augustus.I take my own to the games but not taking the whole school. Any vouchers going spare please pm me I will refund postage. thanks in advance from the kids at Kilchumein PS
  4. That's not quite what you said in your 1st post on here... this was a offer from brew before christmas im talking about. butcher offered him nothing and never indicated he would do either.. releasing vigurs+wood could be premature, what happens if morais, kerr+foran all dont sign contracts, just becasue there being offered it doesnt mean they,ll sign, would of been better waiting seeing what they do 1st But not really very fair on the players concerned leaving them hanging on Might have been better to accept the contract offered before Christmas though considering the current economic climate.
  5. I think Sandy Clark and Jimmy Nichol have gone too.
  6. Alex are you on the drink? :tonguecheek:
  7. Sounds like Calderwood pushed out by what he said on stv just now. Others ie prob willie Miller felt the club could go not further under the present regime. considering the budget he probably worked under I think they must want miracles. Who would want this job?
  8. At least they are telling us some of what is going on at last. Hope we can keep morais and foran. sorry to see others go but I think we all knew big changes were coming.
  9. Just when you think things cannot get any worse. What a shocking decision but I think more to come
  10. I read somewhere he was an Aberdeen fan but still the same scenario I suppose
  11. Felt a bit more sorry for them after experiencing it for myself on saturday. Relegation is never nice but glad to see Sunderland stay up instead.
  12. I think the board made the right decison but probably too late. Worth a gamble but sadly didn't come off. If Craig was still our manager I think there would have been nobody there on saturday or for weeks before that.
  13. I've been on here all weekend. I seem to need to read/reply to people who feel the same way as I do. It is like a bereavement. Our club is certainly at a crossroads as relegation is a pretty major setback and one not experienced before. I like IHE worry about how the board are going to react. I have to say that I feel worse now than I did on saturday reality is starting to kick in. I think some sort of statement about the future is required and soon to restore a bit of fan confidence but I'm not holding my breath.
  14. Must admit I struggled to place votes for this one
  15. Saw the club chaplain Mr Watt on my way out of the stadium - he obviously needed to put a better word in to the man upstairs!
  16. I don't feel excited still feel pretty devastated actually. However, I suppose come August I'll feel better and look forward to the season again.
  17. No they are all too busy posting on pie and bovril!
  18. me neither wizzy
  19. I think the sentiment behind this thread is that alcohol was required to face the fans. Didn't see either of this 2 coming over to the fans at the end yesterday. When watching the premership teams this afternoon the relegated teams seemed to appreciate the support the fans had given the team throughout the season and said thank you despite their own disappointment
  20. don't think you can blame the loyal fans. I think that bad/mad days cost us at the end of the day eg losing 5-0 at Ibrox and 4-1 at Falkirk and failing to beat teams round about us throughout the season like Hamilton and Falkirk.
  21. To the people not coming back - why not let us all know why you have voted this way.
  22. Is it worth complaing to the club? and who is in charge with francising out the catering?
  23. A bit off topic I know but has anyone else had gloating relatives/friends suddently get in touch to gloat about yesterday. My brother told me yesterday was the best day of his life! Nearly punched him - sad man
  24. Must admit I'm glad I dodn't buy a ticket. Not my idea of a fun night out after the game yesterday. Consoled myself with a bottle of white and posting/reading on here to console myself.
  25. Have to agree with problems about the catering in general. ?4 for 2 soft drinks and a coffee yesterday. The hot water was playing up and there was no hot food left before half time in the west side tea bar. There has been no pies left before half time at the last 3 matches. Surely the company doing the catering must have known there was a large crowd planned yesterday. Would it not be better if the club used a local company and kept the cash in Inverness.
