Aaaaarrrrggggggghhhhhhhh! Right let's get fecking stuck into them from the first whistle to the last... we may not be on the pitch with the boys but we are fighting for our survival out there and we need to do our bit off the park!!! I expect the crowd to make noise throughout the game without one moment of silence - a wall of sound, to break the hopes and spirits of the Falkirk faithful! Let's show these soft southern, wheel loving, central belters exactly what it means to be born in the highlands!! I don't expect any ICT fan to leave the TCS with their voice still intact... Do you want to be sitting in the Innes after the game thinking "if only I had tried that bit harder to encourage Zadi to bomb down the left wing, for Imrie to try that extra bit of magic, for Tokely to get his head to a corner from Blackie??" Think of of everytime you've seen teuchter spelt incorrectly?? everytime you've heard that bloody 'Amarillo' song at westfield?? the apologetic look you get when you tell someone from down south where you're from?? that tw@t from Real Radio!! I don?t know what to say, really. This Saturday will be the biggest battle of our lives. Now either we heal as a team or we?re gonna crumble, inch by inch, play by play, 'til we?re finished. We?re in hell right now, gentlemen, believe me. And, we can stay here -- get the 5hit kicked out of us -- or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell one inch at a time. Now, I can?t do it for you. I?m too old. I look around. I see these young faces, and I think -- I mean -- I made every wrong choice a middle-aged man can make. I, uh, I pissed away all my money, believe it or not. I chased off anyone who?s ever loved me. And lately, I can?t even stand the face I see in the mirror. You know, when you get old in life things get taken from you. I mean that's...part of life. But, you only learn that when you start losing stuff. You find out life?s this game of inches. So is football. Because in either game, life or football, the margin for error is so small -- I mean one-half a step too late, or too early, and you don?t quite make it. One-half second too slow, too fast, you don?t quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. They?re in every break of the game, every minute, every second. On this team, we fight for that inch. On this team, we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch, because we know when we add up all those inches that?s gonna make the fuckin' difference between winning and losing! Between livin' and dyin'! I?ll tell you this: In any fight, it?s the guy who?s willing to die who?s gonna win that inch. And I know if I?m gonna have any life anymore, it?s because I?m still willin' to fight and die for that inch. Because that?s what livin' is! The six inches in front of your face!! Now I can?t make you do it. You got to look at the guy next to you. Look into his eyes! Now I think you?re gonna see a guy who will go that inch with you. You're gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team because he knows, when it comes down to it, you?re gonna do the same for him! That?s a team, gentleman! And, either we heal, now, as a team, or we will die as individuals. That?s football guys. That's all it is. Now, what are you gonna do? copyright - Al Pacino

Bougherra's red card is likely to be overturned
-
The Evening Telegraph is a pile of trash though so I wouldn't pay much attention
-
He's been excellent against us in the 2 games I've been at this season so glad he's out but Aafjes is also a cracking player so doesn't make a massive difference to their team
-
Who'd have thought the day would come that Renegade would actually pick a team I'd completely agree with (apart from the captain).. shocker well played that man, I just hope Butcher agrees
-
try sensadine tooth paste, not only does it remove unwanted plaque & enamol but also gives you minty fresh breath B)
-
Wasn't at the game so can't really judge his performance over 90 minutes but from the highlights it looks as though he should have been marking at least one of the players at the back post... I really like the guy as an attacking full back but he it truely woeful at defending

When the stewards were trying to get us to sit down at Motherwell: They're not sitting over there They're not sitting over there They're not sitting over there Theyyyy'rrrre not ssssiiiiitttttiiiinnnnggg o ver there class my favourite, and one that we can use on Saturday: I'd rather have a monster than a wheel I'd rather have a monster than a wheel I'd rather have a monster I'd rather have a monster I'd rather have a monster than a wheel... stick your wheel up your erse

I really don't know what you're getting at... it doesn't matter where you get the points as long as they keep totalling up, no one is going to have a perfect record. He has done brilliantly to get us in a position to save our SPL status when we looked dead an buried after christmas. He has made a few mistakes along the way but that's understandable when he has picked up a team he probably knew very little about next season will be the time to judge Butcher as a manager but how you can blame him for where we are is beyond me
-
IF we go down I'm looking forward to cheaper match tickets

I know what went on Harry . Why would Esson be dropped for the good of the team when he hasn't made any mistakes ? Maybe he's an erse who's disrupting the team spirit??? Who fecking knows but one thing I've learned from playing in a few different footie teams is the manager is ALWAYS right.... even when you disagree with tactics, decisions etc. you do exactly as he says because he is your manager!! What does a goalkeeper have to argue about anyway? He dives inside the sticks, kicks the ball out and tries to keep the defence right, other than that he should keep his mouth shut and get on with it because that is what he's paid to do. yeah so if the manager is always right, then that surely means if things go wrong like us possibly going down its the managers fault. appraisal and fault come hand in hand. people should realise that. everyone is comparing butcher to brew, well obvously he looks good then. but like brews, butcher's record isn't that great as a manager, infact they are very similar. esson shouldn't have been dropped. 23 points from 16 games... again, what exactly were you expecting?? I'll agree with you that Brew is culpable but how can you blame Butcher?? you obviously don't rate the guy, which is fair enough, but I think you are clutching at straws if you actually believe it's his fault if we get relegated
-
Don't have a clue how I'm getting there but I'll somehow be at TCS come 12.30 Saturday
-
hope so... just getting a bit nervous It was more the support throughout I was getting at... even if we do lose a goal at any point in the game it's important we get back into song and continue to back the team because ICT have shown over the last few weeks there is plenty of spirit to come back from a deficit

I've just watched as West Brom were mathimatically relegated from the EPL and I hope next weekend we can offer an ounce of the support that they offered for their players. From the first whistle they were right behind the team and the manager even when they knew it was an almost impossible task to escape relegation. I think the most impressive aspect of their support today was once they lost a goal from an individual howler... instead of booing and shouting at the player involved there was a split second which passed before the next chant started and they continued to back the team.... When the player involved was subbed in the second half, even though he had arguably lost them the chance to compete in one of the biggest leagues in the world (annoying but true) he was applauded off the pitch. The fans then stayed behind to applaud the team for their efforts throughout the season Obviously we may not have the size of support that West Brom have but I think the effort the team has put in since Butcher was appointed manager deserves the same appreciation come what may on Saturday. I hope we can behave with the same dignity if things don't go our way

Maybe Esson was dropped for the good of the team... unless you have insider knowledge????

Actually I think Butcher & Malpas will deserve some of the blame if we do get relegated. Given the situation when they came on board they achieved a minor miracle in getting us off the bottom. However, consistently poor team selections have taken us form the verge of safety back to the brink of relegation. We can't pin that on clueless Craig complately agree, at the end of the day it's football...it's simple one team has to score more goals than the other and its the managers duty to play his best 11 in the appropriate positions, if he does not do this then the manager has to take at least 50% of the blame and then same to the players. If people want to kid themselves and blame it on the board then go on but your just delusional. People need to wake up and realise this, butcher and brew both have done pretty poor jobs when you look at the actual facts which are the lack of points on the board from both managers. people just look stupid if they want to argue with facts. you could say butcher did well when he came first came in but now he has almost chucked it all away. he has to take a huge chunk of the blame as at end of the day it was his job to keep us up...NOONE elses. 23 points from 16 games since Butcher took over, including a win and a draw against either side of the old firm. I'm struggling to see what you're getting at... with that sort of points tally we would be in the top 6 if he was incharge from the start of the season. There has been a couple of dissapointing results but what are you expecting... perfection? It's my fault for not being at as many games as I should have at the start of the season and for backing Brew til the end :023:

Falkirk or us basically.. they have the better record against us, we have a 5hit home record Pressley out after his red card so that should rock them but I am not confident about it.... ffs, horrible if only we had held on against Motherwell
-
This is fecking horrible... I'm meant to be on a weekend away with the mrs but plugged in with my laptop while she's in the corner with a face like a melted welley I fear the worst :D

Who's The Best Player You've Ever Seen
Harry Chibber replied to Renegade's topic in General Football
Tevez, Berbatov, Di Canio, Gudjohnson or Bazza Wilson -
Aye, but we took it well. I don't think they quite realise that we won't cause anybody any hassle if they just leave us alone. And as The Knowledge has pointed out, it was Chibber's shiny, pointy, homosexual, tacky, cheap call centre shoes that got the barstewards attention in the first place. ffs! :crazy07: Aye the support has been excellent away from home and most importantly it has been when the team has needed us the most. The St Mirren game was one where you could actually tell that we made a difference to result (of course it's impossible to prove), I doubt we would have got the goal to win that match if it wasn't for us lot getting right behind the team. I cannae make the Killie match but our fans will be as vocal as ever and I'm sure the stewards will leave you alone as long as you have chosen your foot wear accordingly!

This is the reason we get looked upon as a bunch of sheep shaggin', cave dwelling, electricity fearing, backwards village idiots. Move into the 21st century guys. I can understand it coming from the ex-pats for the nostalgia inducing element but for the guys who live in the Highlands surely we are not as backwards as the movies would have the world believe, or are we? Why is it you only ever see Pipe bands in the Highlands during the tourist season? If we, as a people were that keen on them then the Dornoch square would have the band playing 52 Saturdays per week and not just when the schools are on holiday, so that the tourists can be relieved of their hard earned cash? (I use Dornoch as an example because that is where my ears get polluted by the noise). Mate you support a highland team, I live in Glasgow and couldn't give a feck about the stereotype... I'm proud to be from Inverness and supporting ICT. What's the alternative?

Cheap??

Give the lad a chance under TB & MM IMO he doesn't deserve anymore of a chance than any of the younger players coming through at the club, being a decent player for a 3rd division side does not merit him a new contract. TBH I don't see why there is so much hype about the lad when he has done nothing to deserve it apart from showing off his skills before the start of a game. I know plenty of players that could compete with Ronaldo when doing keepy-ups but get them on a football pitch and they are completely lost... If he was half-decent he would have been given some sort of oppertunity by now IMO Vigurs has much more potential. Maybe part of the reason why he hasn't been given a chance is because he has been out injured since the day Brew left and is needing a second op on his knee?!? Sorry Zander... and while you're here do you prefer your first name to start with an X or a Z?

you listen to dido I think McBain was left wing but to be honest I have never rated him as a winger IMO his best position is in the centre mid, you could see that in the way he kept drifting in-field. It was a bad night for him but I don't think he deserves too much flaak because he has been in decent form recently so hopefully that was just a blip. I know Morais was tired but if I were replacing anyone last night it would have been McBain for Duncan, leave Foran up top and stick Morais out wide for the last 10 mins Yeh Proctor was poor last night but no worse than Zadi
