Reguero Raven Meekings Warren G. Shinnie Foran OTJ Ross Draper Doran McKay The reason I wouldn't play A. Shinnie is the fact he's looked disinterested for quite a while now.

Free weekend. Clach game anyone?
Watched Formartine beat Nairn 4-1 at Station Park a couple of weeks ago, very disciplined at the back and middle of the park but there front four were given all the freedom they wanted, should win the league at a canter now.

Replacement Keeper?
I remember watching him at Queens towards the tail end of the promotion winning season and he was outstanding for them against us in Dumfries. Heard a lot of positive things from him at Partick as well.

Replacement Keeper?
Not entirely sure of his contract situation but i'd quite like us to go for Scott Fox from Partick, very good shot stopper and is still a young keeper who could quite easily step up when Esson steps aside

Team for County.
Esson Raven Warren Meekings Taylor ----Jones---Foran---Draper---- A. Shinnie------------Doran ------------McKay------------ Similar to what RiG said we need someone to prevent Lawson dictating play in the middle of the park so I'd bring Foran in to null that threat

Most Satisfying Last Minute Goal
I can remember a Rooney penalty at home to Patrick to win 2-1 in the January of the 1st Division title campaign, it was just about the time we were starting to string a couple of results together and the controversial penalty we won kept the momentum going at that point. On saying that it doesn't even come close to this Saturday's effort

celtic away 24th november
I refuse to pay £26 to stare at a pillar so for that reason I'll be heading along the A96 to see Nairn away at Rothes

Do You Remember?...
I vaguely recall an incident involving Clyde where some of their kit was stolen so they had to play in our away kit, I think that was about 2003ish

your first Highland Derby
I think that must be the game we won with a late header from Barry Wilson unmarked at the back post. I was right behind the goal and he was smiling before the ball even reached him. It might also have been the game when a County player had a ridiculous hairstyle, which prompted someone (Mantis?) to shout out asking him if his mother had been intimate with a badger. This was my first derby, Wilson scored after some superb work on the right from Paul Ritchie who skinned a couple of County players before standing up a beautiful cross to Barry to head home from no more than 3 yards

He's got bone bruising, much better than previous expected

Shane Sutherland injury
Knee was too swollen for a scan on Saturday so he'll be back in tomorrow, he's having difficultly bending his leg but he's hopeful it's just a bad twist and nothing more serious.

Strange start to the season!
We're usually slow starters but we've never looked so bad at the start of the season, I'll not mention 2 certain footballers but we missed that level of commitment in our back 4, Shinnie had a nightmare against Humphrey but on his day he is the best winger in the league. Foran looked good until the 3rd went in then he resorted to the old moaning captain. Our front 4 looked all over the place, especially Doran, they were forever changing positions without letting anyone know they'd moved there, therefore exposing any position they left vacant

Team for Arbroath
The good thing if we win tonight is with all the SPL teams going out I would assume the top teams in Division 1 will be seeded, this means we could be spared a potentially tricky tie in the next round

Team for Arbroath
I disagree. The youngsters will get their chance but I think the manager needs to pick what he thinks is his strongest attack minded team available for this one. There are 3 reasons. We have yet to have a win in the league this season and there is a need for more time for the players to gel and particularly for the defence to gel. We are creating chances and scoring but are shipping too many. Get that right and we could win a lot of matches this season. Now is not the time to mess around with the side. There is also no point in giving players a "rest" because there is a weeks international beak after the Motherwell match. Linked to that is the need for team to get the confidence of a good win to get some momentum going. We need our best players playing well to acheive that. We should not under-estimate Arbroath - note that the Rangers were held by Berwick today and after 3 games are only 4th. Getting a win and hopefully by 2 or 3 goals or more should do wonders for morale. And as many have been saying on this forum, we need a decent cup run, both to ignite some momentum of support but also to help with our difficult financial situation. It may only be Arbroath but this is an important game for the club and we need to approach it with as much seriousness as if it was a crunch league game. Having scored goals in every game this season yet conceded loads its the defence I'm more worried about so I'd go with our strongest back 4 and then experiment going forward, I'd put OTJ in the middle of the park for his experience to help the younger attacking players and to leave a nasty challenge on money grabbing Kerr
