Hastings Gone & Golly Back
Its Daniel Park ^_^ I can remember him always being on the bench in the SPL, iv also got his signature aswell. I'm sure the player you mention will love the fact you have told everyone he is slagging off team mates. Will do wonders for team spirit, I don't think.

Drop zadi now!
I was in the North stand and the booing there was comming mainly from one area, coincidentaly the same area where the fans started to leave 10 minutes from end of the game. DZ was dire on Saturday, but so were all outfield players that played. Why only single Lionel out? I have seen him play a few times now, and yes he is erratic, but he has also saved us on occassion, V Aberdeen, blinding clearence from under the bar is one that springs to mind and good display v Annan. Even on Saturday the block he made in the first half was pretty good defending. All the players where guff on Saturday, which makes the abuse singled out to Lionel totally out of order.

ICT v COUNTY : Matchday Thread
Remember its just one game. Yes i know its against the GYPOS but we've got to stick by them and makesure we give them our full backing through out the season I am not saying TB/MM out, yet. I am saying sort out the inconsistancy. I am told they were a top of the league team last week against Dundee, poor against Ayr good against Dunfermline and beating 3rd division teams for fun. Sort out what makes the team so inconsistant. That is all I am asking for. Oh and a team with some passion, oh and a team that can pass a ball, oh and a footballer who will not fall over if someone comes close to him, oh and some one who can score regularlly. Not much is it? :(

ICT v COUNTY : Matchday Thread
MoM! MoM! yer havin a laugh. The wee guy in the u11's at half-time would be my MoM. At least he tried, at least he had a go at goal(and scored) another of the u11's used the ball, passed to team mates took on defenders beat them, and produced a cross. At least the u11's at half-time defended and challenged for the ball. That u11 team at half-time had more guts, passion, skill than that ... than that shambles that paraded on the TCS pitch today as Inverness Caledonian Thistle. If they look at their wage slip this week they should be embarrassed. Gutless, passionless, devoid of idea's, lack of basic skill on the ball. I have never seen so many professional footballers so easily pushed off a ball. Not one of them was up for the challenge, not one of them looked interested and not one of them deserve to pull on an ICT shirt today. They have embarrassed and insulted all supporters today. TB/MM sort it out now.

FAO Staduim Announcer
Why is it so loud in the Main Stand? and not any of the other two stands Perhaps more of our older followers reside in the main stand, and it has to be louder to be heard over the sweety rustling. :tonguecheek:

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Off topic but you can bring on a sub goalkeeper for outfield player. Stuart Pearce done it in an under 21 international in summer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/i...als/8090460.stm

Smoking area for half time
EdgerelyICT writes: Absolutely! Tho sadly the club will probs not act as they'll not want to be seen to be 'helping' people to smoke at all. If they don't do anything I can see the reasoning behind that (promoting healthy lifestyle etc) but they also need to realise that some supporters are smokers - and want to enjoy the whole match experience. I know that when I go to TCS I'm usually wanting the final whistle to blow, and not because we're hanging on for a win... but because I need a fag.

Paul Coutts
Not from Highlands but the player I remember from my younger days playing in Stirling area who went on to do quite well was a player called Ally Dick. He scored 2 or 3 goals at wembley v england in an U15 international, same game where Paul Ridout scored a hat-trick for england. Scotland won 5-4. He signed for Tottenham when at school, became their youngest ever first team player(until recently),won a winners medal when he came on as sub in UEFA cup final when Spurs won it. Signed by Johan Cryuff for Ajax but suffered some bad injuries and retired early.

Season tickets
:021: :021: :021: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: Well done everyone. I think we proved a lot of people, myself included wrong, there may not be as many glory hunters at TCS as I thought. Great news about the increase in kids ticket sales too, the future's bright, the future's ICT. Well put. I think this is a real sign that the people of inverness and the surrounding areas want to get behind the team and help get us back into the SPL. Not that I want to p!ss on anyones parade.... BUT, in the story it says that there are a 20% more children than last year... how many are "free" or ?25 per year tickets? :024: Its easy enough getting bums on seats at that price - but at the end of the day, its down to profits for the club.... The kids seats may be cheap or free, but, whilst at the game they will probably be bought food and drink, a programme, merchandise if available. All adding to the clubs coffers. As well as thinking ahead, tell their mates what a good day out it can be and encourage them to go to a game and maybe carry on supporting ICT in years ahead.

Away Support
Queen of the South, who play in Dumfries. mmmmm, April 10th I see. Might try and make it to that. Think i'd rather go to a home game though first. :P I would go to an away game first, a home game might put you off :D . Better craic at away games. Took the wife(who enjoys a drink or 6) to her first ever football games last season, all, bar 1, ICT away, and she really enjoyed them dispite results. Took her to Annan game and she couldn't believe the difference in atmosphere, and attitude of the fans around us. But we were in the main stand. But you would go to the North stand for a home game. Much better. Don't have to wait until April. Playing in Dumfries 5th December.

scotland vs norway line up
I've never been convinced by Burley as Scotland manager. I thought he was going to suprise me for the first half hour and get a result tonight, but a few shocking ref decisions, a deflected shot later and Burley has the chance to prove he has the ability to sort out the team during the game. He failed miserably. Wrong subs, wrong tactics Wrong manager! He will claim decisions went against him, but thats football, deal with it. He didn't deal with it.

Caley Stadium
Has to be North Stand. We had our first experience of the Main Stand on Saturday, and if the ignorrant, pompus, petty, small minded, "I have a season ticket for this stand" attitude is the norm, they can stick it up their tartan blanket.
