  1. Killie were good for the music as well - Loved their rendition of the Family Ness for us
  2. I have no idea who are CJT members or who aren't - Charlie Bannerman has offered to be my nominee but I think that he may be debarred from voting. Please message me if I can put you down as a nominee. Please don't overheat my computer though ?

  4. Wrong answer but would have been correct two years ago.
  5. Robbo OUT - WARREN in ?
  6. Politics v Reality ?
  7. Of course they baled us out financially and undoubtedly overspent. But they did eventually get carried away and undoubtedly encouraged by Messrs Butcher and Hughes. Unfortunately their financial management did not match their bankrolling expertise. I am referring to the mess that followed the Cup Final. As above for sentence uno - Great and accurate comment by Robbo in regard to the esteemed Gary Warren. Reading between the lines Gary has undoubted ability (but not capability anymore), his commitment is 100% and always has been (and undoubtedly will continue to be whatever he will choose to do) and his leadership skills have been there for all to see. Many people talk about the criteria for a club legend - and IMHO Gary is as close as you can get. But (undoubtedly for the evidently best possible reasons) Robbo did not add that his fitness and speed have diminished (as happens to all aging people) and he can no longer be guaranteed a first team place. Sitting on the bench and not playing would be the worst possible scenario for Gary. Perhaps career advice would be to get a PE job, carry on part time at ICT and look at coaching certificates. And I am not kidding when I suggest that an ICT manager of the future will be Mr Gary Warren.
  8. Sorry - Hearts away is a test and a good day out. And most are salivating about the prospect of Cove away ?
  9. Fer fecks sake - Pre season friendlies are glorified training sessions. When we went to Yeovil, Bristol and Aldershot the games were mince. The atmosphere off the pitch fer the away support was brilliant. And the Betfred Cup has well and truly fecked that up. Those pre-season games of olde sucked up the finances and did feck all for the start of the REAL season.
  10. And the opinion of the fans who watched last season ? What Robbo is stating is that Gary is not worth the payments that he is receiving because he will NOT be a starter next season. And I fer one think that he will be a squad player.
  11. To me that was as much to do with the players who were playing as a team and fer the shirt - good scouting, good signings, good FOOTBALLING decisions, Managers able to attract, with experience and with media savvy but well overpaid - no real mercenaries (well not many) - playing fer the shirt - And instead of steadying the ship AFTER the Scottish Cup Final they got very, very cocky and nearly sunk the ship - they "misused" the "winnings" and eventually went to the lifeboats.
  12. Would Gary be the captain next season ? Would Gary be a first eleven choice ? Would it be better to give a younger player the opportunity to be the squad cover ? Yes finances evidently play a part but this is also a footballing decision.
  13. And if it came out - as it undoubtedly would - then many would be complaining that it had been kept quiet !!!
  14. Football is a feckin business you soft bestards. The previous soft bestards where the ones who almost fecked up the club in the first place and agreed these over the top deals. lets all feel sorry for OFW and Foran eh ?
  15. Sorry but to me this IS a footballing decision and a very decent offer (given our current plight) which Gary can accept or otherwise. Potentially for Gary it could be an opportunity to earn more than he could in Sneck OR another consideration would be to stay and look at his future career options - What did he do at University ?
  16. Surely it can be called anything as long as it does and is allowed to do the job it is devised to do. Lets call it the "Dougal Project".
  17. I wonder what Kieth Melon makes of it - probably as little as Renagade and Rug. We could however be looking at a number of new players plus trialists. At least - again - there is a sense of planning and hopefully allied to better pre season training, higher fitness levels from the league start and significantly decreased early season injuries.
  18. Si - Can I call him an ersehole now ?
  19. Moderators - I have been challenged and chastised and my posts removed for far less than the PERSONAL petty point scoring that a certain individual appears to be devoting his Internet life to. ***moderators are aware of the issue and will deal with it in due course***
  20. Cant wait fer the draw Mannie
  21. From my perspective there have been numerous positives since the end of the season and they far outweigh the negatives. A strong CJT now is just what is needed to raise issues and hopefully assist the new regime. As fer Mr Warren - a great servant, always gave 100% but his days are numbered.
  22. You can tell by her hair that she isn't.
